Peak Sandwiches (Hoole) — Restaurant in England

I had previously visited here and, unfortunately, my experience was a disappointing one, which seemed out of character compared to the many positive reviews. After leaving my 2-star review, the owner kindly apologised and invited both my son and me to return and try them again at their expense. We were a little hesitant at first, but today we decided to do just that.

I can honestly describe the difference between this visit and the last as night and day. We received a warm welcome when placing our order. My son asked for a small change to one of the fillings in his sandwich, which they were happy to accommodate.

After a short wait, we took our sandwiches back to the car. The ham in my sandwich was plentiful—so much so that it was bulging out—with a delicious relish and fresh salad. My son’s chicken sandwich was just as generous and tasty.

I also noticed them making sandwiches for other customers, which looked just as good as ours—so it’s clear that this quality is their usual standard.

I’m really glad we went back—the food was excellent, and the experience completely...

During my first (and as of posting this review, unfortunately my only) time visiting Peak Sandwiches, I was graced with the most impressive modernisation of the now-overdone sandwich formulae...

The ingredients (proteins, salads/greenery, slaws, relishes, etc...) used were simply inspired, and showed a true culinary insight.

My credit to the chef, because everything was flawless, from the choice of bread to how much it was toasted, to the ratios of all components.

Second time in 2 weeks trying Peak Sandwiches, I had heard great things and I took the opportunity of a rare lunch date with my 4 year old son, I had the ham rueben which was possibly the best sandwich I have ever had, the flavours were incredible. The staff kindly made a sandwich my son requested (chicken, cheese and mayo). We also had a lovely orange carrot ginger juice.

Called back today and had the buffalo chicken and that was also a great sandwich. So many places go wrong over complicating massive menus they have a handful of top notch sarnies, nice juices and some...
