Store claims to be "dog friendly" provided they are not disruptive and aggressive towards staff and customers. We had visited before with our anxious dog and he's settled down really quickly and staff were happy to talk to him. Today we were asked to leave because our dog grumbled twice (not even bark) as he entered when we moved out of the way and sat down so another customer to pass.
We plan our visits in quieter times and will sit in a corner with him on a settle mat. Unfortunately, we won't be returning despite the Costa being our local one. We will be more than happy to drive to a dog friendly café 30 mins away where we are able to enjoy our coffees...

Read moreCosta Coffee is upstairs inside the 'Next store, Telford'. Pleasant staff, good service and lovely range of hot or cold snacks, toasties, cakes and beverages. Open late, so it's ideal to meet up with a friend after work. Free parking outside (check the time limit. It is at least 2 hours). There is a lift to give accessibility to all.
