Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

Store claims to be "dog friendly" provided they are not disruptive and aggressive towards staff and customers. We had visited before with our anxious dog and he's settled down really quickly and staff were happy to talk to him. Today we were asked to leave because our dog grumbled twice (not even bark) as he entered when we moved out of the way and sat down so another customer to pass.

We plan our visits in quieter times and will sit in a corner with him on a settle mat. Unfortunately, we won't be returning despite the Costa being our local one. We will be more than happy to drive to a dog friendly café 30 mins away where we are able to enjoy our coffees...

Wen pets are not aloud is pets on the lids or a teacup chihuahua that Can’t be left in the car alone or at home due to having a big brother, we been everywhere me with Nico, as he’s my baby, in his carrier Sainsburys never said a thing, Nico always travel in his carrier, and has the best behaviour I never take Nico out ever.

But Costa inside Next wow the manager, she’s truly nasty, rude at the best, I had a tiny pet inside a carrier not a dog on the lead, and the bag is smaller than a shopping bag, this woman treated me like I was a criminal… Never ever I will step in...

Costa Coffee is upstairs inside the 'Next store, Telford'. Pleasant staff, good service and lovely range of hot or cold snacks, toasties, cakes and beverages. Open late, so it's ideal to meet up with a friend after work. Free parking outside (check the time limit. It is at least 2 hours). There is a lift to give accessibility to all. Upstairs, it has the nice option to sit and look out at the 'Forge Retail Park'. I recommend the Bakewell Tart, and Muffins, lemon, or chocolate are...
