Very disappointed, never had a fast food restaurant take so long. I usually take the drive thru but was quite busy, so thought why not go inside it won't take as long. Firstly the touch screen order board refused to get a connection to take our card and after 3 tries (which took 15 mins), declined and sent us to till, which took another 10 mins with only 1 person in front because the cashier at till was acting like he was in space. After painstakingly making my order with the slowwwww cashier I then waited another 15-20 mins for my meal. Whilst waiting the staff spend more time hugging each other and wandering around helpless. It took 4 people to make 1 drink, 3 people to fix a till. The drinks machine where you get your 1 drink from was being abused by customers because the staff were so unaware of what was happening. 1 customer managed to drink 3 medium drinks even before she got her order, it took that long. I'm surprised the machine hadn't emptied in the time we were there, so many people were helping them selfs. By time I got my food it was freezing cold, but I had waited that long I couldn't bear to wait any more. I'm not fuzzy and don't always mind eating cold food and usually I won't complain but even the salad had seen much better days ...
Read moreVery disappointed. I incorrectly believed that by going in to the store I would be better able to choose what I would be purchasing. Due to a small queue of what were mainly home delivery drivers waiting either to order or take their goods, I decided to use the only ordering machine available. Access to all other machines was either blocked by the queue or the machine was faulty. I proceeded to make my selections only to discover when had payed for the bill that the machine was not issuing any receipts. I attracted the attention of one of the staff and explained the problem with the machine, they informed me this was not a problem as the order had been received electronically. When my order was ready I found it to be incomplete. I told the person serving me about this. They said as I had no receipt then they could only progress with the items that had been transferred electronically. I tried to explain that £9.50 for a burger and onion fries seemed somewhat excessive, but again was told that without a receipt they were right and I was wrong. No one made attempt to fix or remove the faulty machine from service. All of the staff seemed to be totally focused on attending to the delivery driver needs with exclusion of all...
Read moreOrder taken no problem, nobody at the first window to take payment. After a minute with nobody appearing we pulled forward to the second window as we were blocking the car behind from getting to the order speaker. When I told the person at the second window that we hadn't paid as there was nobody at the first window, we were told we should have stayed there and we needed to give the food back, that the person at the first window was helping at the second window which was why they weren't at the first window, and that we needed to give the food back. Then it was decided we could just hand the card to them so they could walk down and process the transaction and that we didn't need to give the food back after all.
It wasn't our fault that nobody was at the first window and yet we were spoken to as if we should somehow have known precisely when the person who should have been there would return and waited for that time, and that we had caused a major inconvenience by trying to keep things moving when, in fact, five seconds' rational thought and thirty seconds' action was enough to remedy it.
Poor. Can't say we'll be using...
