What is the point in having the sign "please ask our staff for allergy information" if the staff don't even know what's in the food, I asked to find out if the chicken tikka panini contained any tomatoes in the sauce to which she said "we're not sure" I ask about the humous wrap and to which the girl asked another girl the reply "I'm not sure, I don't think so but I can't say for defo" after realising that whatever I asked about the answer would be "I'm not sure" I ended up having to have a tuna crunch wrap, to which the mayonnaise would contain eggs which I'm also intolerant to, if the help wasn't lacking enough my sister who asked for a mango frappe originally was told it have been discontinued, which acceptable howev her next request was a 5 fruit smoothie to which they had ran out so opted for cookies and cream and yet again had ran out, if you are intolerant to certain food I highly advise to avoid this place as it was far from helpful, feeling very frustrated and unwell after having no other option but to eat the food I was intolerant to!!!!!! The only food available without my intolerances was a vegan muffin!...
Read moreI went into Muffin Break, Telford, Shropshire this morning intending to buy either a chicken and ham tortilla slice or a chicken tikka wrap. I go to Costa and Pret A Manger often because they all use British beef, chicken and pork. Starbucks do not tell you where their meat comes from so I don’t go in there. I only buy British meat so I asked the girl in Muffin Break where their chicken is from. She looked a bit surprised - clearly no one has asked this question before - but she was very polite and went to the back of the shop to see where the chicken was sourced. It appears Muffin Break are using Brazilian chicken. I find this very disappointing because Muffin Break are clearly not supporting British farmers and, worse still, are using up air miles and aviation fuel to source cheap chicken. Everyone should do as I do and check before they buy. They offered me a vegetarian option but I won’t support any companies that use foreign meat. With best wishes Linda Sent...
Read moreI love going here for lunch. There is 1 lady who always seems to be working when I go in and i feel like she doesn'tget a break as she is alllllways there 🤪, but she is a font of knowledge and always super helpful. Milkshakes are thick and amazing, muffins are always perfect, and usually lots of variety. Lots of non-muffin foods available, feta and spinich slices are my favourite. Vegan and vegetarian are available, too. Clearly labelled, and the staff are always helpful in answering dietary questions. Coffee is absolutely smashing, and their autumn winter menu's with hot chocolate choices make my cosy Christmas (though this is written in summer 😁) one of my favourite places to sneak to on...
