Not your average burger joint. Everything is cooked to perfection, if you have a normal appetite then the small burgers with toppings are more than enough, same with the fries, it’s a large portion, so best advice would be to share.
Edit: after reading some of the negative reviews, I feel I need to expand. Yes, the food is expensive but, you’re paying for quality, if you’re used to anaemic fries and mediocre burgers, save yourself £5 and use the McDonald’s next door, if however you want something full of flavour and made to order then five guys is the place for you.
I’ve visited and used just eat on numerous occasions and each time I’ve been blown away by the quality. It’s also worth pointing out, this is not somewhere you go for a romantic meal or bone China plates, it’s a vibrant upbeat place with loud music that is always busy. Never had to wait for hours for a delivery either, no matter what time we order.
Again, it’s a bit pricey but so far I’ve not been let down, awesome food, and like the saying, ‘you get what...
Read moreOnly opened Monday and grandson wanted to visit so took him Friday. I gave one star for the burgers because they were of a good quality to be fair, but unfortunately that's where the stars end.
The place was heaving with people waiting to get their orders in. We were given a number to collect the food but then had to wait for ages to get the milkshakes. Meantime the food was getting cold waiting for the milkshakes! Found a table and sat down with our takeaway bags of burgers and chips, of course no plates (at least mcdonalds offer to bring the food to you if it was going to take a while). The meal for 4 came to £66, which in my mind is shocking for hamburgers, fries and drinks, no table service and no plates! To top it all there were several tip jars on the counters. No meal deals, everything individually priced.
At least McDonalds charge a reasonable price for families. We certainly wont be going back to this chain! We would have been better off going to a pub with...
Read moreMeal ordered on line. Quess what we only received part of it. The 2 beers £10.50 not received. Phoned to be told they were sat at the desk. They were aware straight away that we'd recieved a milkshake instead. They gave the driver the wrong thing. You'd expect them to send the item out but NO. Told we could pick it up or asked quidco to refund for the cost. Why we would pick up a part order of a requested driver? Call this good customer service. I dint think so. If you get the customers order incorrect sort it not expect the customer to deal with it. We ordered the meal as we couldnt get out. As this is the 2nd time an order isn't correct plus the items which did arrive weren't great we will defo not be ordering again. Well be going back to Burger King and letting everyone know about the brilliant serivce we received. Shame on...
