Costa, what was that? 🤦

We ordered two Flat Whites (one with coconut milk) and a croissant. We said we were dining in. Waited about 10 minutes. When I went to pick up the order – the croissant was there, one Flat White too, but in a takeaway cup. Okay, mistakes happen. I asked for a regular cup to pour it into. By the way, an interesting discovery – there’s more coffee in the takeaway cup than in the regular one. Is that normal?

But the best part was yet to come. We kept waiting for the second coffee… but it never came. I asked, and they said the order was only for one. No, we ordered two. Fine, they started making the second one. Finally, it was ready. But while the barista was moving it, she spilled some onto the saucer. And what did she do? Just wiped the cup with a cloth, placed it on a clean saucer, and said, "Your coffee is ready."

Seriously? It felt more like a cafeteria assembly line than a coffee shop. Yes, it’s a busy city center location, but that doesn’t mean the service should suffer. You expect better from Costa....

Just went to costa in towns brunel infront of me was a lady asking about prices of toast on her receipt as she wasn't given enough refund for her order she was asking for the manager to explain to her how come she only got just over 1pound for 2 lots of toast she was spoken to really rude and money was thrown at her onto the counter from the jar and till with the manager asking if she wants more money. The lady was quiet upset saying she wasn't asking for money just to understand her receipt and refund. I just quickly ordered and collected my drink to go. On leaving the lady was outside quiet upset. This isn't right by far. She only wanted to understand her refund not for him to thrown money at her and ask her to leave in a rude Manor. Don't think I'll be using...

I have been a weekly regular to the Swindon Parade Costa but due to a current situation with this branch I feel I need to voice my concerns on this costa! It’s an atmosphere with staff that are extremely curt and providing bad customer service! The entire joint has nothing but left trays, it’s dirty and near enough all their tables are faulty? I however am no longer welcome by the manager due to a recent misunderstanding with her staff member which was a complete misunderstanding! It’s a shame and easily could have rectified But it’s a blessing in disguise here, it’s long overdue this review and needs to...
