Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

I came here today (10th March 2020). After a long and stressful day I needed to relax for a bit and do some work. I felt quite low before I came here. But there was an awesome dude behind the counter who served me. He was cleaning the machine out before I ordered and we made some conversation about Video Games. Dude if you see this your a legend. Just having someone speak to you after a stressful work day and take your mind off things is great. He was excellent with other people too talking to them. Overall a really really nice employee. We visited here yesterday as we were shopping in Next and thought we'd grab a quick drink to rehydrate. I ordered the lemonade and my partner had the peach iced tea... Well peach tea I should say. The iced tea was warm and not particularly pleasant to drink.

The lemonade was lovely, very bitter but exactly what I would expect from a still lemonade. The biggest downside of course is the price, especially as the iced tea was poor. I won't be ordering that again, but we...

Costa is my place of choice for coffee, but today I I've had a quite disappointing experience. I've ordered a coffee to take away and waiting for it I sat on a chair to rest. Once coffee was ready and I stand to pick it up one of the stuff shouted in front of everyone at me that I've paid for take away so I cannot seat. Considering the premium price they ask for a coffee they should reconsider how their behaviour with the customers. I won't go back to that...
