Starbucks — Restaurant in England

I had a deeply disappointing experience at this Starbucks location due to an interaction with one of the baristas,koksana. I visited this starbucks as around 6pm hoping for a quick and friendly coffee pick-me-up, but unfortunately, I left feeling frustrated and disrespected.

When I approached the counter to place my order, koksana was noticeably unwelcoming. Her tone was curt and dismissive from the very beginning, and despite my attempts to engage politely, she barely made eye contact. When I asked for a custom modification to my drink, her response was not only short but also dismissive, as if my request was an inconvenience. I tried to explain my order clearly, but she seemed uninterested, rolling her eyes in the process.

Things took a turn when I politely asked for clarification on the drink options available, and Rosiana outright refused to help, saying, "I don’t have time for this" and turning away from me to assist another customer. I was taken aback and felt completely ignored, which led me to politely ask for a manager. However, she continued to act hostile, even stating, “You can just leave if you’re not happy with it.”

It was honestly shocking to be treated with such rudeness, especially in a customer service environment where courtesy and professionalism are key. I’ve been a loyal customer at this Starbucks for a long time, but this interaction with koksana has left me questioning whether I want to return. There are certainly better places for a more positive and welcoming coffee experience.

Honestly this place, we go to barnfield twice a week and their service and staff are superb, but this one is hit and miss. The staff are sometimes a bit miserable, and the drinks are inconsistent, but when we nip over orbital it is close.

I went to barnfield yesterday, had their American meat focaccia, they offered us hot sriracha with it, which made the sandwich!

Went into orbital today to get some supplies, popped over to starbucks orbital, put two american focaccias on the desk and asked for got sauce ‘hot sauce only comes with egg roll’ the guy said. There’s a whole box of sauce sachets behind him, I said ‘are you sure we had some yesterday at barnfield’ he goes off and asks a miserable looking lady who also says no! I told them to stick their coffee and focaccias, literally spent 1000’s in starbucks over the years and this place couldn’t give us a couple of pence of sauce!!!!!

Drove over to barnfield and guess what, the welcoming team said sure you can have that sauce with anything you want!

Sort yourself out orbital, only reason for two stars is you are convenient being at orbital, but where possible I won’t be coming back and will stick to the great team at barnfield who know how to make coffee and...

I have been trying to get a coffee from this “drive through” for months but it is always closed. Today after finishing some shopping in Asda next door I decided to try and grab a cup of coffee on my way out. To my surprise I saw 3 cars at the drive through and I queued as well. At the order station I was “welcomed” with ‘what do you want?’ and to nobody’s surprise the person at the window was rather rude too. The car behind me was refused service at the drive through and was asked to park and order inside. On my way out I saw a member of staff moving some cones in order to prevent cars going through the drive through. Needless to say I do NOT recommend this place to anybody and I surely will not be returning here.
