The Plough, Brackley — Restaurant in Great Britain

What a refreshing change to go to an establishment where customer service is key ..The Plough Brackley...The welcome 10/10 ...customer service 10/10 even a phone call from the owner to say the lamb was so popular they are selling out quick and it may not be available " Tell me what establishment does that ?"...Food 10/10 ...Atmosphere 10/10 ..I just can't fault it ......If any restraunteer is reading my review go and see the pros in action ..its not about throwing stuff on a plate and hope for the best you have to work at being good ...these guys have got it....A little bit about the food ...plenty on the plate to fill you up ....Very tasty ...did not need any more seasoning ...People talk a lot about your mum's Sunday roasts...these guys have been watching mums ....perfection 😀😀😀....please can we...

The plough has a great and extensive menu catering for both vegetarians and gluten free diners. The food is both tasty and plentiful having sampled many dishes over many recent visits. There are lots of tables/chairs and parts of the pub in which to sit, several fireplaces and a very lovely local feel. Outside is one of the best covered drinking/dining spaces I have ever come across, heat lamps to those a tad chilly, large TV's to catch those important sporting events. A giant wigwam type canvas cover the roof and the perimeter walls are covered making the space feel a natural part of the pub. Parking is just a few spaces but plenty of street parking is available just a short stroll away. Brackley town is a minutes walk away with plenty of charming shops...

I came across this pub in Brackley while investigating the region. It is run by friendly staff and they have put a lot of thought into COVID-19 assurance with plenty of antiviral gel on each table. However the food was not all a success. The all day breakfast was disappointing for one of our party (quality of sausage could be improved) and the jumbo fish finger had a mixed response from the kids. On the other the Penang curry with cauliflower rice was a complete surprise and a success, even though it didn't come with the chicken I thought I ordered. They have a gluten free and a vegetable menu so I want to praise them for wanting to make their offering more inclusive. Worth a try but I will probably...
