We travel over the border to enjoy the beer, and especially the food. We have been twice over the last week, and noticed a big drop in the quality of a certain food product 'CHIPS'. Now you may be thinking this is not a big deal, but actually it is !! they used to serve fantastic home made chips which were dark and sweet, they were just amazing, which went fabulously with the home made burgers and homemade coleslaw. Read moreIf you like beer this place is not to be missed. The beer itself is excellent and stands out in a congested ale marketplace. Especially (for me) the BYB is a truly outstanding session ale that deserves many more accolades that it currently gets. And the little bar at the brewery here is everything you could want from a local pub being well fitted out and very friendly. Definitely will be finding a way to come back and bringing friends to let them too experience...

It was a lot more olde worlde pub than what I generally associate with a tap room... Big menu selection (all looked super tasty), a board games space in the back, warm wood tones, booths and a small wrap around bar.
Dogs allowed. Good outdoor space. I'll be back to try more beers and some...
