Creams Cafe Middlesbrough — Restaurant in England

Staff are completely rude I was sat at a table with a draft after asking to be seated in a booth,I then later asked to move and they said we have cleaned the booths I said well you’ll only need to clean the table we were sitting at with the draft if that’s the case I’ll clean the table which she replied no ,with working in customer service myself If some people come in and say there’s a draft I’d move them and be happy they can have a Posative stay,after saying I was leaving because I was getting attitude of the staff they said I’m going to have to ask for you to get out. It didn’t feel welcoming when we walked in the restaurant and the first thing the staff member said was “we are closing soon” considering it closed at 11pm and it was 9pm.. Staff are incompetent, rude, miserable and not fit for the job. Creams has gone right down hill lately never felt so unwelcomed ever before.they clearly didn’t want us there. Surely you’d want us to sit at clean tables however they wanted us to sit on the unclean table...

went with my family to celebrate my dad getting a new job, there were barely any people in, and no music on which was great as both me and my dad have autism and cannot have loud music on and still enjoy it, after sitting down for a few moments, loud static started playing through the speakers every now and again. After about 5 minutes (and being told they were trying to fix the music) music came over the speakers very loudly at the same time as static, my mum went over to ask if they could turn down the music and on the way to the counter asked the only other guests if it was okay if she asked for them to turn the music off (which they agreed immediately) however when she asked them to, they said it was store policy (it probably is) but wouldn't turn it down until my mum got angry and said she wanted them to turn it down before she ordered. in the end they turned it down but i would definitely say this is not a suitable place if you have sensory issues or want to have a conversation...

Having ordered tonight through Uber Eats, we waited almost an hour for delivery. When our order was delivered, the ice cream sundae looked like it was more than half missing, and the portion size was questionable.

This also happened recently when visiting Creams for takeout. The staff were very stressed out, they were exchanging foul language to each other in front of guests. The staff then seemed to disregard the number of guests and delivery people waiting to either be served or to collect an order.

We managed to order, but we waited a very long time, and again it seemed like the staff were told to cut corners with the portion size being served for takeout guests.
