Curious Cat — Restaurant in England

Nice decor but not very attentive staff, felt a bit like an inconvenience to the waiter, the man behind behind the bar making the cocktail was more pleasant though. Food was ok but deep fried. Guess it's ok if your town doesn't have many restaurants to choose from but personally disappointed. To be honest the waiter was great to other tables but as they were all young pretty blonds felt I should have rang daughter to join us might have been more attentive! The drinks all came at different times, no cutlery for main course and main was missing bits from the course, No water on table and not even how is everything guys can I get you more drinks ect very poor service We spent £190 on 4 people but wouldn't say it was worth it! Today was my first visit to Curious Cat, and I'm already making plans to visit again. We were a party of five ranging from 12 yrs to 80 yrs, celebrating my sisters birthday. From the moment we stepped through the door we were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We made ourselves at home in the window and ordered food. It all arrived piping hot, exactly as ordered and tasted even better than it looked. The kids had desserts and my son enjoyed a couple of mocktails while we indulged in the real thing. There is an extensive gin bar and cocktail menu, and the kids, young and old, loved seeing these creations come together before our eyes. Curious Cat and it's staff would be an asset to any City, and Grimsby are lucky to have them. Looking forward to a return...

Lovely staff and food. Was very nervous at first but the staff are so welcoming and knowledgeable.

Drinks menu (including cocktails) was insane I will admit. They had some drinks on there that I did not expect but appreciated. Cocktails were very unique, my partner was infatuated with the choices.

Food menu was great, not too much but not too little. They didn't try and have everything but it felt like they had just enough. My burger was perfect and the handmade chips are the best I've had. My partner had the creamy lemon chicken and it was to die for.
