Yet another delicious dining experience at PAL!!! It has quickly become our eatery of choice. The tantalising menu is always full of new surprises, each packed with exciting flavours. Hats off to Chef Dale and his team, great to see them enjoying their craft. The ambience is vibrant and fresh, relaxing and chic, all at the same time. The exciting drinks menu has something for every occasion including some truly innovative cocktails! This is made all the more pleasurable by the exceptionally charming staff! An inner city haven in the centre of Grimsby, just what we needed, bravo PAL👏

Food great! Service excellent! We went on a quiet Tuesday night at around 7pm. The food was brilliant, the menu had something for everyone. We tried the chicken tenders (bbq sauce was sweet and quite nice), the prawn bao (really tasty, novel and had flavour. The dipping sauce was good too), pork belly (divine!), king prawns (subtle, light and tasty) and fries (maybe slightly overcooked, but very nice non the less) Reasonable price. With 2 drinks, 5 dishes it came to £50.00. Make the most of the 2 for 3 deal on weekdays!

The food is excellent and reasonably priced. The menu is wide ranging and inventive with a range of different types of dishes. All the food is cooked fresh. The service is excellent too. It was my wife's birthday and they were happy to keep a cake overnight for us and then serve it at the appropriate time. They also have a good range of cocktails, alcoholic and non alcoholic as well as the normal range of wines and beers. We had a very enjoyable evening. We've been there many times and will return again.

After my wife had been here a couple of days ago... she took me for a lunchtime treat! Her second visit.. my first. Service was super prompt and cheerful. A warm, friendly welcome. While we looked at menus our server brought over 2 glasses of iced water with cucumber slices in. (No good for me... allergic to the green things! And quickly served with plain water instead!) We chose 5 tapas dishes; belly pork, crispy beef, jalapeño croquettes, beans in lemon and salmon with orange and radish. All dishes are freshly made with local ingredients where possible. Around £10 per dish. Worth it for the freshness, flavours and generous sized portions. I had a Hells beer... which was a surprise at the end as it was around the £8 mark. So a little pricey in my opinion. Listening to the server on other tables... he knew his wines... and really described them accurately. I do regret not having a nice glass of wine instead of the beer now! Lol. The atmosphere is warm and light. Comfy. Easy for friends to meet or a more romantic meal. The bar is clean, well stocked and it shows how much love and care the owners, mangers and staff have about the place. The chefs... super talented... and menus do change. The bill was £51 and the lager was missed off.. so honest me turned the bill into closer to £60. Still well worth it. I believe some days mid week give you 3 for 2 on tapas too. Well worth a visit. A really enjoyable experience. (And I get to enjoy it again later... as they kindly boxed up our left overs!) Thank you to all who made us very welcome...

Review from 14/9/23 Booked a table for 2 for my wife's birthday, never been there before but had heard good things. From walking in I absolutely loved it. The place had a relaxed feeling to it and the music was a mixture of exactly what we both liked. The decor was simple but with the music and the bar area it worked really well. We were greated by Ewa who was behind the bar, great guy who couldn't have been more helpful. We had drinks at the Bar and felt very welcome. Cocktails were incredible, the draught beer was awesome and later, their single malt Whiskey was amazing and not to be found anywhere else. The jars behind the bar are a great idea to save waste with pickled items and vinegars in them from the kitchen. The food came out in a very reasonable time after ordering and was very tasty, in particular the mongolian meatballs. Incredible and not to be missed. Best I have ever eaten. The king prawns were also beautiful as were the roasted Carrots. Service was great all night and attentive. The only feedback I gave was in relation to the crispy chicken thighs. I love crispy thighs but they must have a crispy outer. They tasted good just lacked the crisp I love. Other than that, which is just my own personal opinion, everything else was perfect for a special night. I hope more people visit, its definitely worth it. Thankyou all for the food and service. Good luck for...

Edit: Have been here two more times since my original review and things are still top notch. There's the occasional dish that slightly misses but everything else I have ordered has been absolutely amazing. High marks on things like the meatballs, hand pies, crab soufflé, pig & prawns, flatbreads and more. I cannot recommend this place more. The place is still cozy, the staff incredible accommodating and helpful. Love it.

Picked here for a birthday meal and wanting to try something new and was quite happy with here. The food for the most part was packed full of flavour. Some great chicken and fish dishes, sauces that felt rich.

Only downsisdes being one of the dishes that came quite late in comparison to the rest which made things a little bit awkward. Also some menu items do sell out fast so you're probably better off getting in early for the dinner menu.

I would still definitely come again as the menu changes often and I certainly want...
