Dana Curry House — Restaurant in England

Had a delivery to centerparcs which was over an hour late. Phoned on two occasions and they didn't or couldn't find our online order. Food that was an hour late was delivered stone cold, we had to reheat the microwave. Had the chicken tikka balti and 50% of the chicken was inedible with added human hair for extra taste. Chicken tikka Jalfrezi was a bit bland but ok. Naan breads where put I the bin quite possibly the worst naan breads I've ever eaten. Phoned for a third time for a refund and quite literally got the middle finger. One of the worst curries I've ever had and will never be returning. Asked for the curries to be made without ghee and both come swimming in the stuff far to greasy. We're that disgruntled I'm opening up a dispute with PayPal with whom we paid through to see if we can get out money back. Hope the bin...

Got a set meal for two. Ordered Saturday 21st September at 16:48, delivered at 17:07 although when ordering instructions were 55 mins wait time for delivery. On delivery it was obvious that the food had been reheated, most probably left overs from the previous day. Soggy Poppadom's, reheated chicken Tikka Masala tough as old boots, the Onion Bhajis were like cricket balls and the two mains were swimming in oil and revolting. I'm far from happy as this is supposed to be the best Curry house in Penrith. I phoned them and told them what had been delivered and where it now was. I was offered no apology and no refund, which is why this review is here. Once bitten twice shy. I will not be ordering again, everything...

What a real shame, we used to really like this place but unfortunately, any time we've ordered lately, the dishes are just so full of oil. We have had to throw the past 2 orders away now. The nan breads are either burnt or taste of dough from being undercooked. We stuck it out with you hoping it was just a temporary glitch but 3 months on, sadly nothing has improved. We won't be back as having to throw 2/4 - 4/4 meals in the bin, just isn't viable or acceptable from any food establishment when you're paying good money and sometimes delivery charges too... Very...
