The Courtyard Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in England

Unfortunately, I cannot knock the food, only highly recommend it to all in terms of taste and quantity, we have enough for two days. I had the Chicken Curry with Egg Fried Rice, finally a place that makes chicken curry that actually has a curry taste (last 2 places, a sauce with heat added, but no curry taste). NOW TO THE BAD PART: We ordered Take Out, and I am used to giving numbers which eradicates mistakes, but the local girl (not oriental) was either having a bad night, or comes with attitude. When trying to give my order it was met with 'well that's no good to me' (with attitude), £57.90 order nearly walked out the door if not for a oriental member of staff intervening, especially at the point of being unable to use a calculator to work out the cost of my order, the oriental woman took the calculator off her and in less than 10 seconds, was spot on with order total, the girl had created the atmosphere with her attitude, which was clearly there also with the oriental woman towards her with the calculator issue, (best thing for the business, get rid of the girl).

Food is 5 Star (taste) Service 4 Star (saved by oriental member of staff) Atmosphere 1 Star (due to attitude of local girl)

My wife and I booked a table at this restaurant and I use the word very loosely, We arrived on time and was eventually led to a table for two very basic room upstairs with poor decor and only four tables we were given the drinks and meal menu and we chose what we wanted it would have come to more than £80 but we never got any attention from the waitress however a couple came it after us and were immediately given drinks and the waitress took their order we were open mouthed and got up and walked out, the waitress knew the couple and said to them I haven't seen you for a while. the service was appalling and the food we can not comment on and will never go there again and will inform anyone who asks me about the place. Rang and placed order at 6.30 last night and given 40 minute collection time, No problem. Arrived to collect at 7.10 as told. Preceded to wait Another 50 minutes!!! People came and went after us, 3 other orders came down in one go 1-2 bags per person. Asked twice where our order was. An hour and a half after ordering, I complained to owner about the extended wait only to be told ‘large order’ (was not that large a came in 2 bags) When I asked for small monetary refund in compensation, told NO and offered 2 cans of coke instead!!
