De'Braai — Restaurant in England

We went in,waited around the counter for them to greet us which took 15 mins yet the whole place was empty. We saw they were just chatting away through the kitchen. Finally got seated,the waitress came over and we wanted to order drinks. We did but for some reason they didn't have any mojitos at all so we ordered soft drinks. Few mins later the lady near spilled our drinks but it was okay. I then ordered my food,and she was suppose to take the menu off us but we waited 20 mins or more and the food came. Absolutely appalling that I found little bugs around my food,I didn't say anything at the time but barely ate the food tbh. Papas pizza is better than this place. The menus were still with us. After that,we obviously ordered food for take out but this was before the bug situation 🙃. The takeout took 30 mins or less,and we could tell they barely had any manpower in the kitchen. Probably 1 person or 2. Recently found out this place was opened in January but they weren't doing any good business so they promoted the other day that they just opened. FYI they should add a hook/hangar in the toilets because legit nowhere to put coats. Never going here again because when we got home,the chicken wasn't barely cooked,it was white as a ghost. You could just tell. Overall the lady who served us was laid back and was not professional. Takeout chicken was bland as well. The chicken has no flavour so bland not going here again nightmare need more manpower and also they turning customers away due to not being able to have dinner ready until 45 mins to a hour,just aswell...

Worst Food i have experienced. Undercooked Chicken blood coming out, photo evidence was taken. (I’ll keep the pictures off for your own sake) Went on the opening night, no plates brought out, had to ask for plates and spoons, over 40 mins wait time. Myself and 3 family members where the only people in the restaurant so why the wait time was so long i do not know. Soon as the food came out we started to tuck in, the chips where ok average but small portion for being included as part of a platter, lamb Chops where just barely cooked and all the chicken was terrible, we lifted them off the plate and it was water and blood underneath. We told the manager and he said shall we take it back to re-cook the chef said one is cooked one isn’t. We where put off even more by the lack of customer service, wait time and the bill came to £48 they still had the cheek to charge £30 for a full table of food. Service was a little slow however it was well worth the wait plus the staff were great 👍 👌 I almost never order a steak anywhere in the UK but I decided to give their Tbone steak a go and boy was I pleased. It was delicious and juicy and had a taste of South Africa/ Africa. I am definitely coming back to sample the rest of the menu. Kudos to the chef and the staff.
