Dixy Chicken — Restaurant in England

We purchased a meal online from this takeaway and as far as we we’re concerned we’d paid and all was well the food was delivered and very much enjoyed . What we didn’t expect was a knock on or door at 1.30 in the morning from the delivery driver because he’d had the price of our food deducted from his wages and had decided to come to us to get his money back. We had no idea that the online payment hadn’t gone through. Nobody had contacted us from Dixie chicken for payment. I’m disgusted that the delivery man thought it was ok to get me out of bed at 1.30 in the morning. But mostly I’m disgusted that the manager of Dixie chicken thought it was ok to deduct the price of the meal from the delivery man’s wages . Do these people live in the dark ages. Do they know nothing about employment law. I will not be eating from here again if that’s how they treat...

Soon I enter in shop the guy went back got busy with his phone so was waiting if someone could take my order ..After 5 minute waiting a guy come and toke my order so I ordered peri peri wings portion chips and a drink the fries they serve are awful so I said I can I have pita instead the guy said sorry we can’t change it it was cold and tough fries the wings when they were hot they were good soon they got cold turned in to stones😡😡 I’m very angry I will never ever go to this Dixy again and I will not recommend to anyone. Guys speak to loud in the back so people can’t enjoy...

Always enjoyed dixy however recently they have been cheeping out massively and quality has dropped. I feel like after introducing their card machine they are really feeling the hit with the tax man. Ordered a mega mix burger meal and it was literally falling apart and the chips were over cooked. They have replaced plastic forks with cheap card 2 tong forks which doesn’t pick up the anything so essentially it’s pointless. They try to charge 50p for a few millilitres of sauce. Just not worth it anymore as the food quality is rubbish now...
