Irinos Cafe — Restaurant in England

I had a very disappointing experience at Irino’s Café. The place looked dirty, and all the tables were sticky, which was already off-putting. The food we ordered was far from fresh—it was cold and seemed to have been only slightly reheated. Even the cheese on the chips didn’t melt properly.

The hygiene in this café is extremely poor. The toilets were absolutely disgusting—no hand towels, water not draining properly, and everything was filthy. The woman preparing the food didn’t wash her hands, despite cleaning and handling food at the same time.

To make matters worse, they didn’t even provide proper dishes; instead, they just handed us kitchen towels. The food itself tasted terrible—the meat was burnt, dry, and completely unappetizing.

Overall, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. I would not recommend this...

After more or less 20 minutes pondering if I would enter the place or not (the charming Confucian quoted panel on the outside certainly helped in that matter), I took my courage, stepped in and ordered a wrap. First thing I noticed was the quality of the bread, light and crusty; a significant improvement from the usual sloppy and wet towel-feel wrapping bandages used in most take away shops... But this is nothing compared to what happened after the first bite. It was ridiculously delicious, with a taste quality I wouldn't have guessed possible for simple take away food. Help yourself and pay a visit, you won't...

Quite dissapointed...I decided to order after reading all the great reviews.. I had the beetroot soup - very starchy, mainly potatoes and lacking flavour. Chicken steak (schnitzel) - soggy, no salt, no pepper and the side potatoes were old and tastes like stale rancid oil...the sauce was great because it's probably instant... Salad was fresh but I'm not sure if I want to try again.. Edit : Not to mention that I got a cheeky reply saying that their food is not for everyone...as if I have bad taste in food..bitter burnt oil is not to...
