Outrageous customer service. I entered the shop for the first time, stood behind some people who were getting food over the counter then they left, I thought we are next in line so waited and waited. No greeting no guidance no how can I help and there were about 6 of them behind the counter. 2 men came in behind us straight walked to one of them and in Kurdish they started chuckling and ordering their food, I said to the person taking the order we have been standing here for a while why do you let people jump the queue, he said why don’t you come and ask to order, I thought what? I have been standing all that time do you think I’m here just to watch and sniff? No one told us where to order, and they all saw us enter I mean it is only tiny. Anyway he took the order and I paid. just after that I heard the guy with arm covered in tattoo who took the order say in Kurdish to his mates behind the counter to delay the woman’s order because she did not behave! I am not sure he knew I speak Kurdish! No one said no that is wrong they all did what he told them to. I stood there in shock and took it in as I had a 5 year old with me. So they served all the men who came after us and some even finished eating, I got my order after 25 mins wait with a small child. Not even a chair to sit, no regard for a small kid waiting for their food. No wonder there was not a single female in the shop, we initially went to eat in but changed my mind when I entered, this was a red flag I should have walked right out. Finally, The chicken was undercooked. Poor hygiene all over the shop, I guess they know they are the only Kurdish food in miles...
Read moreThe shawarma at this place has captured my heart, and I can't get enough of the delectable flavors it offers. What truly enhances the experience is the red pickle that accompanies the dish—a tangy and spicy delight that perfectly complements the savory shawarma. The bread used is a testament to their attention to detail, adding an extra layer of flavor to the overall combination.
Despite the small size of the establishment, the deliciousness of the food makes up for it. The limited space is a minor consideration when weighed against the heavenly taste that the shawarma provides. This is a place where culinary excellence takes precedence over the physical dimensions of the space.
my affection for this place is fueled by the scrumptious shawarma, the delectable red pickle, and the savory bread. While the establishment may be compact, it's the flavors that truly matter and they shine brilliantly. If you're seeking a shawarma experience that's a true culinary delight, this place is an...
Read moreGood meat selection of grills available , taste is great and comes at reasonable price .. the guys are generally friendly but can be bit more welcoming when you go into the shop.. I guess it is to do with busy environment.. I found the welcoming is fading away now days specify at fast food shops. Here they make fresh bread and have to admit it is one of the nice bread I have tasted. Moving on to salad is usual stuffs at kebab shops so and nicely packed when you do takeaway and the one thing i feel let down is source they have , it is just normal source from supermarket. I feel and believe the source play important role when you eat grill meat and would be nice to see if they can start making in-house source which would make one of the...
