When you can get food its fantastic but the last 4 times I've tried to order takeaway or collection then app or website not working or the payment system is down. Last 2 times because I know how good the food is I have gone to the shop to order and collect and both times staff less than helpful saying the wait is too long so I have left without food. I'm sadly giving up, despite really wanting to order from them regularly, they haven't made it possible never mind easy. I'm Gutted
*It's been a long time but I keep thinking about how good their food is so tried again tonight. Placed an order on their app. the order confirmed it had gone through and gave me an authorisation code. Wait 70 mins not ideal but at least I knew before I ordered. Over 2 hours later I phoned only to have them say they hadn't received my order. I could order over the phone but it would be an hour wait. No apology, no trying to speed it up as their app had failed and already waited 2 hours, so once again no food for me. That really was (disappointingly) the last attempt at using them. Read moreOrdered a Sunday roast. Delivery driver opened my back door and was half way in home. Frientened the life out of me. I phoned 3 times and asked to speak to manager and each time told not there but would leave a message, never bothered to return call to apologise or see how I was. I phoned Police and had a visit next day, explained to them what had happened, showed them back door where driver was entering. Female officer could have been mistaken for a porch. I opened back door to show it wasn't a porch and a back door to property. They said would I like them to visit dolphin square kitchen and speak to them, to which I said yes. Heard nothing back from Police or owner of dolphin square kitchen. Disgraceful how this happened and owner of business obviously doesn't care about customers. No empathy,care or consideration for anyone. Be aware if having a delivery, owner will definitely blame the delivery company 100%. Read moreI visited this restaurant today for the first time. The front door is knackered not a great start! Very stiff and difficult to close, not a problem I know if the food is good. Two women were having a chat when I entered one was a delivery person the other worked in the kitchen and quickly disappeared into the kitchen when I approached the counter. I waited at the front to be served. The delivery woman said don’t worry someone will be with you soon. I waited…..& waited. I man came to serve me. I asked for a burger and how long it would take. He said it would be 15-20 minutes due to lots of orders already placed. No one else was waiting for an order. I left without placing my order. I won’t go back because they don’t value my custom at all. The delivery woman looked like she couldn’t wait to get home to smoke the dragon and the takeaway didn’t make me feel welcome at all.
