Read moreLooked small but in all honesty 1 hour was enough time in this size area. Lots of staff to help on the court. Don't plan to have lunch here and safety briefings need more attention.
So.. i Didn't get much confidence from the safety briefing. They put a dvd on a tele and told the kids to watch it and then the adult left the room, then he came back and said any questions let me know. I expected more than that at a safety briefing if I'm honest. (What young kids who are exited really pay full attention to a dvd)
All over the website it says make sure you arrive no less than 20 minutes before ur time slot. Our time alot was 2:30 and by 2:18 I had to go and find someone and ask when will they be doing the briefing which I was then informed some people are not there yet so our session would be starting later as they was waiting for them. Which is unfair on the people who actually arrive on time. Which it also states Lots of times online that if you are late there time slot will be moved.
Also it says online food to be purchased onsite.. so I planned on us having some lunch there but we couldn't because the only things they sold was chocolate/slush puppies/crisps and drinks. No hot food or sandwiches or anything I was shocked.
Most staff I saw were all very young, looked like the age they would be paying to climb themselves. That being said they were very helpful and quick to offer advice and a helping hand...
Read moreAlways good fun and friendly, ive been with a scout group and with my university a few times, they are amazing, staff are nice and friendly, equiptment was wiped down often during the pandemic, however there are a lot of escalators to get to this place, i believe a lift may be avaliable, food and drink sold is often ok, its mostly branded stuff, and a little touristy(expensive) but not stupidly priced, there is plenty of room and they cater well for groups, i have not experienced the climbing much coz i dont like heights, but they have a wide range of climbing equiptment, are really imformative about how to use each piece of it and have got a really good safety system for it, it can become a sweatbox in here however during the summer as there appears to be a lack of aircon or the aircon is useless when there are loads of people sweating from running and climbing a lot, it seems very good and ive seen them show very good support for the LGBT+ community before including trans pride flags and LGBT+ rainbow flags in the windows, only downsides i can find are the access of the place, the fact its often a sweatbox and the...
