Very disappointing experience. This was my first time ordering from Domino’s, and after this, I’m sure I won’t be ordering again. Their website doesn’t allow custom pizzas with dairy-free or plant-based options, so I had to call to place the order. They promised the same discount as online orders, which was the only reason I agreed to order by phone. However, I was charged full price—without any receipt or proof of the order. When I called to clarify, the customer service was dismissive and unclear. Additionally, the price she quoted me over the phone was different from what I was charged.
I also ordered Chicken Kickers, which the website describes as having a "mildly spicy" coating. Since I ordered by phone, I couldn’t see the product details, and the staff never warned me about the spice level. They should have asked if the food was for kids and given a heads-up about the spice, but they didn’t. As a result, the kids couldn’t eat them, which was very frustrating. This order tonight was a disaster and even when I gave in and decided to call the store I was disappointed with how it was handled. We order a large stuffed crust pizza which was clearly a medium I even measured it as we get the same one every time we order and this one was noticeably smaller. I was told by the store the stuff crust causes it to shrink and that if it has 12 slices it’s a large. As you can see it doesn’t it has 10. I even googled pictures to compare and they were the same. We ordered a tuna pizza and the last time we ordered it barely had any so we decided to double the meat but it came exactly the same with barely any tuna at all. Then dessert time our biscuits look like they were thrown in the box and smashed together. Read moreWe waited 2 and a half hours for our delivery! Phoned 4 times to get a progress update and was informed of low staff and not enough drivers. After waiting an hour and a half we was told our pizza was in the car and on it's way; 30 minutes later still nothing! Phoned again and was told it had been delivered??!! Ended up speaking to someone else, another 20 minutes later it finally arrived!
This was a real example of poor service. The staff were polite and apologetic, however 2 and a half hours was unacceptable. Not at any stage was I told it would be an hour and a half wait or more, otherwise we would have decided on an alternative meal. It would have also saved another poor review on Google and a formal complaint to their Head Office.
Unfortunately this isn't the first time we have had problems with the Marlow branch & tonight really was the final straw. We will never be ordering from there again and will certainly be using alternative competitors. Such a shame, as we...
