Domino's Pizza - Southend — Restaurant in England

Absolutely disgusted, served by the guy with a beard today didn’t catch his name but he sounded Arabic (literally only non racist way to describe him) , ordered a pizza for collection which was fine, the. I then called as friends wanted to order some cinamon- dippers, told that I already had an order today and cut me off !! Lol anyway my partner called up and said why did the phone get cut off and he said it’s busy so we won’t deliver so she said you don’t do that so we said you will deliver thanks ! He said it would be an hour and a half (to try and Normally never had an issues with this anyway or it couldn’t get any worse the bloke who is dealing with packaging the dips and dispatching the orders, didn’t want to put the icing for the dippers, so my autistic daughter who loved my cini dippers I had earlier had a meltdown because she didn’t get her icing so called back and demanded they resent the order still waiting 40 mins later....actually they just arrived with the best delivery driver, he was extremely apologetic and I appreciate him being honest although as a former GM of a major delivery unit I know it’s not the drivers responsibility to check these things, appauling if the general manager is in he will get a call tommorow, think we will use Pizza Hut...

Negatives first.

Ordered 4 large pizzas on 2 for Tuesdays. They said it would take 1hr for delivery, then got a call back around 30/40 mins later saying that they were delayed and it would be another hr.

I had alot if hungry people waiting for food but the communication was good rather than not knowing where it was.

I asked for a receipt so that I could claim the money back but when it was delivered no receipt was presented.

I called the store only for them to inform me that because it had already been delivered that they could now not provide me with one.

Now the positive

Food was hot, and cooked to perfection, we has 4 different types and it just what we needed watching the football England V Wales.

On a side note, I understand they would have been busy on that evening and once it arrived I had lots of happy people.

All I would say is if you do need a receipt then I would ask them several times to make sure they...

I ordered two pizzas on line for collection, got there for the time still not read, the bloke behind the counter kept opening the pizza boxes moving stickers around? After 10 minutes I was given one pizza and told they are not sure where the other one was and said they would make another, 35 minutes later I now had one cold pizza and one hot, asked them to remake (which they did) but overall took 2 hours from start to finish. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw a drive come in and start cleaning some food boxes and saying these shouldn't be here, (items in question were pizza/side boxes which the counter staff were using as a mouse mats then folding up to put pizzas in!!!!😨) The manager was too busy talking about her night out the previous night.
