Doner Master — Restaurant in England

Donner Master has always been my go-to for late-night food, but unfortunately, my most recent visit will be my last.

First off, the service was disappointing right from the start. There was a clear lack of basic customer service etiquette—no manners, no friendly tone, and a generally unpleasant approach to taking my order. The staff seemed disinterested and rather rude.

When it came time to prepare my food, one of the employees asked what sauces and salads I wanted. After mentioning the usual sauces and mixed salad, I decided to add pickled chili. For some reason, the staff member seemed annoyed by my request, looked at me, and said, "Seriously? You don’t come again." I was shocked by the comment but tried to brush it off with a smile, explaining I was just making my mind up about the pickles.

The situation escalated when the same staff member served my friend. When he asked for extra sauces, the worker said, "Even you don’t come next time." At that point, our patience wore thin. We weren’t asking for anything out of the ordinary, and we were paying customers—there was absolutely no need for this kind of disrespect.

After reading reviews from others, it seems like poor customer service is a recurring issue here. As a franchise, this lack of professionalism is concerning. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning, and I can’t recommend this place to others based on...

Ordered fir the 1st time using uber eats as I had a discount code, price was still high compared to better places even with the discount. Let's start with the chips, the box was so small at first I thought it must be the salad then I opened it and discovered the tiniest portion of chips I've ever had, they looked like they were for a 4 yr old and were barely warm so I opened the actual salad, this was disappointing aswell, it was really wet, no cucumber and the lettuce I couldn't eat as it was covered in a disgusting purple/wet stuff (sorry not sure what that was as I closed the lid and put it straight in the bin. So I opened the chicken doner meat and omg I'm sorry but it was virtually swimming in grease,, I picked at a couple of pieces and the quality of the meat did not look like meat from other kebab shops I've eaten from, it just looked awful and you could taste the oil it was sitting in, I lifted some meat up and the oil dripped off back into the tub so I took that and put it in the dogs bowl, unfortunately she wasn't impressed either and I've never taken her for a fussy eater ever so it must of been nasty. Staff here are terrible, let me tell you, some of the staff tried to charge me 50p extra for seating because i looked chinese, at first I thought they’re joking, but they insisted that i need to pay, racist out there mate, it’s ironic because they’re from other countries themselves, but after my british bf stepped up (they didn’t realise i was with him) , all their faces changed, and said they just tried to get small extra money ( i guess for their pockets not for shop), clearly they knew they had messed up.
