My wife had an afternoon tea at Dr Fox's as part of a present from her previous work place. We took the day off to use it on a Monday. Service, food staff were excellent. 6 different sandwiches came as part of the package. (cheese and pickle, salmon and cream cheese, egg and rocket, ham and mustard, cucumber and homous and red pepper) 4 mini scones (2 of each, fruit and plain) with jam and cream. Then 2 cupcakes and 2 slices of Victoria Sponge. Lovely place well spaced out seating. Dog friendly as well if required. Will visit again. 😍🙂😋 Update - 20th April 2024. Returned for another afternoon tea today as my wife had been given another gift from her current work place. The weather was absolutely spot on. ☀️ Staff were superb, friendly, attentive and interacted well with all customers that entered whilst we were there. Food absolutely spot on, a great mix of sandwiches and cake. Wife again had an Americano and a pot of tea for me which without trouble were both refilled whilst there. I liked it so much that I have bought another afternoon tea for my Mum as it's her birthday next week. Highly recommend, 💯👍🏼😍

Lovely location and great to sit outside when sunny, have been coming here for years. Went Saturday lunch and Mrs and I had a scone with cream and jam each. £3 for scone plus £1.50 for jam and cream, so £4.50, for a single, slightly chewy scone. Swear used to get two scones? Had a nice coffee and fab pot of loose leaf tea, but with 10% tip was £19 something, for two! medium sized scones - I appreciate a lot of the old folk may only want a single scone but this really is poor value for money. Scone also not very warm and not amazing quality so won't be coming back anytime soon sadly.

I visited my boyfriend in Weston-Super-Mare where he took me a walk to Knight stone island where Dr Fox's Tearoom is located. It was such an overall delightful experience. Beautiful setting on the sea front in view of the pier. Homemade cake, scones and biscuits. We had English brew tea for x2. I had a savoury scone with onion chutney and cheese. my partner had a sweet scone with clotted cream and jam. Then we treated ourselves to a delicious slice of Victoria sponge. It was my first experience of this cake and i thoroughly enjoyed it. Will be back on my next visit. Thanks again :)

Latest visit 2023 Re visited Dr Fox cafe as now under new owners. Much improved since last visit. Young lady who served us very friendly and welcoming. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Lovely surroundings and very clean. Service was quick and efficient. Very nice coffee and fantastic coffee cake. I will definitely be revisiting. Well done on the improvement....

Last visit 2019. (previous owner) Could be better. Limited choice on lunch menu which there is no firm favourites eg. Bacon sandwich these are only served before 11.30 am. Scones and tea nice, breakfast looked good but was bland tasting, veggie sausages were mainly bread and leak not very appetising. Salmon and scrambled egg very nice. Whole experience not great due to fed up looking owner finding it difficult to smile and enjoy his career choice, and lack of acknowledgement from any staff member. A smile...

Just came for a light bite today. Had a vegan panini and the vegan walnut/apple scone (very nice with honey) It was tasty and a good portion. The food is always lovely here and they have lots of options if you have intolerances (they are very helpful and will do their best to cater to your needs, just ask!) They were very busy when we came in but still served us with a smile. 😊 also I was acknowledged by the team behind the counter, I didn’t mind and I could see they were busy and doing their very best. We sat outside and it was lovely and peaceful. There were staff clearing tables as quick as they could and no one was stood around idle. The team are friendly and attentive. I have been to Dr Foxes before and enjoy my visits. I will be back again and would highly recommend it to others. Overall a happy customer ,...
