A total disappointment from start to finish ..very poor service .. I ordered two afternoon teas .. Very basic sandwiches and cakes and nothing special at all .. But edible I suppose .. My main complaint is the service here ..tea arrived and waitress walked away .. I realised she had not brought any milk to the table and teaspoons so had to ask for these ..started pouring the tea and noticed tealeaves in my tea .. Called the waitress over again and she said "didn't you get tea strainers with your tea " ..I said no like I didn't get anything else I should of had either ..we were offered to take home our cakes and said yes .. The waitress boxed it up but left out the clotted cream and jam in the box and had to go ask for them to put in ..it was so bad one could easily feel the staff were picking on my table and doing it all on purpose .. What a seriously bad experience, waited half an hour for out hot drinks which arrived luke warm, asked to redo them and waited yet another half an hour for just one to be made. Decided to cancel order and go elsewhere , was told the machine was not working properly, manager arrived to do refund , no interaction , no apology , did not ask why totally not interested in what had happened so he gets the worse rating you could give for a manager, staff don’t seem to be knowledge in what they were doing and we were not the only customers dissatisfied as one lady had no coffee in the drink she was served, it is a shame I have had to write such a bad review as it was my first visit to a lovely cafe overlooking the sea but sadley will never return and I can only pass this on to others until the place sorts itself out, shame for the pier to have an establishment with such bad service and it not a cheap...

On arrival waitress Grace obviously had an opinion of myself and my wife Sat down and started the order firstly my wife order a glass of water and no questions ask if she wanted ice and lemon in it Next came the order for her main course a classic cheese burger and didn't ask how the burger should be cooked when it arrived it was so over cooked it was inedible Onion rings were the same We then had to go to the till and were presented a bill for this When I suggested the bill and food we're both unexceptable offered a 10% discount again not exceptable then to add insult to injury a 20% discount At that point I said have you actually seen what you served At that point she just said is there anything else So I had to get the plate and show her As I got back all she said to us was JUST LEAVE My opinion is the fact I'm married to a Filipino was the reason for the way...
