Disappointing Boba Experience with Poor Customer Service

I recently visited a local shop and unfortunately had a less than satisfactory experience. Upon entering the shop, I inquired about the availability of tapioca pearls, and the staff assured me they had them. Excited about trying their boba, I proceeded to place an order for a few drinks.

Regrettably, the preparation time for my order was unexpectedly long. It took the staff a frustrating 15 minutes to make just three drinks, which seemed excessive considering the simplicity of the beverages.

To my disappointment, when I left the shop and started sipping my boba, I realized there were no tapioca pearls present. Feeling let down, I returned to the shop to address the issue. However, instead of acknowledging their mistake, the staff gaslit me by claiming that I had never asked for tapioca pearls in the first place. This response only added to my frustration and made resolving the issue even more time-consuming.

Overall, my experience with this boba shop was far from satisfactory. The initial assurance of tapioca availability, the lengthy wait time, and the dismissive attitude of the staff when confronted with the missing pearls left me disappointed. While it eventually got resolved, the entire ordeal could have been handled more professionally and efficiently. I hope the shop takes customer feedback into account and strives to improve their service...

The service was great. Food came fresh and hot, but the flavour just wasn't there. We got two burgers, masala chips, bbq chicken strips, and a biscoff shake. The shake was good. The chips were great. Nice and crispy, and masala flavour was good. The burgers were cooked well and had quite a lot of oil coming from them The bbq sauce tasted like a cheap bbq sauce from a wholesaler bottle. That was really the tip of the iceberg for me. Anyone can fry some chicken and put some shop bought bottled sauce on it. Can't charge gourmet prices if that's what you're going to do. Perhaps they should try and do a few things well instead of all things just OK. The guys seemed nice and I wish them luck, but unfortunately, I won't be going back...

Excellent cheesy smash burger, crispy masala coated fries and lovely peri wings. Fresh mocktails with perfect amount of fizz was very good - will remember to avoid adding boba popping balls as it makes the drink too sweet.

Decor was bright, clean and inviting.

Cheesy smash burger with two patties and cheese sauce was really good and so was the peri wings (not your usual peri sauce this one had a nice subtle tang to it) they were all bursting with flavour. Buffalo wings a bit too tangy for my liking. I fell in love with their crispy masala chips. I prefer this type of masala chips rather than the saucy one which results in soggy chips.
