Perfect no fuss cafe with a variety of economic food and friendly staff. This is a straightforward unpretentious cafe with solid coffee and wide variety of inexpensive food ranging from full English breakfast, to burgers, to baguettes and salads. It's on the corner and benefits from being light and bright from windows down two sides. It seems to be a favourite with manual workers and average Joe alike. The WiFi works well, so if you want a change of scene but need to bash out some emails with coffee in hand, or requiring a light bite, then this will do nicely. I liked the background music as well. It doesn't have a car park, so, as Luton is very anti-free parking for visitors, it's worth noting the road opposite just round the corner you can park for free when visiting. This is not a posh stop, but everything is good and the staff will accommodate your individual tastes in preparation, so for these things it must get 5 stars. Read morecently visited a charming cafe in Luton, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with cozy seating and friendly staff who made us feel right at home.
Now, let's talk about the breakfast! The menu offered a fantastic variety of options, from classic English breakfasts to innovative dishes that catered to various tastes. I opted for the halal full English breakfast eggs which was perfectly poached, served on a toasted English muffin, and drizzled with a rich hollandaise sauce. It was a flavor explosion!
The cappuccino was equally impressive—rich and smooth, making it the perfect complement to the meal. The portion sizes were generous, ensuring I left feeling satisfied but not overly stuffed.
Overall, this cafe is a hidden gem in Luton, perfect for anyone looking to kickstart their day with a delicious breakfast. Lady serving was nice and looked after me aswell with extra eggs.I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu! Highly...
Read moreUsed this place a few years ago and it was so-so, but now it appears to be under new management. We travelled across Luton to get breakfast here especially the omelettes - AWESOME. The reason we don't use this place all the time is the coffee is a bit meh.
EDIT: We went back the next week and I have found a better coffee so the coffee comment is resolved.YAY.
BUT I had a cheese omelette again and it had no cheese flavour at all. The meal was very good again but I am sure the omelette was plain and not cheese. I should add that I am almost blind and work on flavour only and am not concerned as to how the meal looks (my partner said it looked great). We were very disappointed and will leave it a few week...
