Duru's Kebabs House — Restaurant in England

Had chicken sheesh which was lovely. Nice big chunks of chicken that were cooked perfectly, nice and juicy, with a lovely taste on top. Also had chicken doner and lamb doner kebabs. Both of these were lovely as well. The lamb doner meat was the best that I've ever had. No bits of white chewy fat to be seen which was lovely and the meat wasnt salty either like some that ive had in Rochester. The chicken doner must have had the same seasoning as the chicken sheesh because that was also the best chicken doner that I've had. They must lose quite a bit of chicken when preparing it because there wasn't any chewy bits of gristle or fat within the meat. Ive had chicken doner meat in other places that you really don't want to eat when you get it home. So I have given Duru Kebab 5 stars because they really are worth it. And I don't like giving out 5 star reviews unless they are worth it. But this place warrants it. Really nice people serving you ok so they struggled a little bit on the phone due to the language barrier but they couldn't be more helpful and when I got there to pick the order up they had roughly 15 orders that they were working on. And I can see why they were busy because good food speaks for itself. They had all the sheesh kebabs laid out in front of you in the glass fronted fridgeand the salad looked lovely and fresh as well. Also not like the places in Rochester. No names mentioned but I won't be eating from any of the kebab shops in Rochester or Stood ever again, not now that ive found this place. I just wish they delivered to Rochester as that would save me the trip. But I mustn't grumble at that small price to pay. There's another kebab shop up the road from this place. I was told that they were nice but they're more expensive than This place and they can't touch Duru's...

Me and my partner ordered Chicken kebab with pitta and salad. After eating my partner was throwing up all night unable to sleep, this morning i’ve also been throwing up. Had a fever, shaking, can’t keep any fluids down, had to ring an ambulance in the end due to us feeling that awful. when i complained to the restaurant all the said was we will get a “discount on next order”, i explained i will not be ordering from here again and he said “okay” that’s it.

EDIT After contacting the owner, we’ve been told me can have a refund Friday, 2 days later. We ordered late at night so was probably was of the last orders, we did not order chicken on skewers - we got 2 Large chicken doners. after getting a refund i will happily leave another review and...

I have nothing but praise for this takeaway, unfortunately it seems that most of the complaints centre around having uber eats deliver or just deliveries, . Its so easy to blame the invisible supplier. I go to Durus always very happy to see me and I'm a regular I would not go anywhere else, foods good tasty and hot. We've been made lazy by these dubious services, if you have a problem get out of your chair and show them the problem not chuck it in the bin then complain. We should go back to the way it used to be get it yourself then perhaps we would not have so many obese people sitting in their chairs complaining on...
