Decided to stay local last night, so we walked down the road to give this place a try. It had been recommended by a neighbour ages ago, but we hadn't got around to trying it before. The dining area is fairly small but very cosy and exceptionally clean and well presented. You can see through to the kitchen, which is bright and modern, and looked spotlessly clean. The lady in charge looked after us extremely well and made sure that we had a great experience. The food was delicious although we did order a bit too much. A good selection of wines and a nice choice of cocktails. There's a small selection of children's meals and some specials on the board. A nice selection of desserts were available, and my good lady said that the profiteroles were the best she had ever had. This is mainly a takeaway, but the dining in experience was so much nicer and thoroughly recommended. It was very easy to check seating availability and book a table through the online reservation website. It was above average prices, but the food and the service were definitely above average, and worth paying a bit more for. For 2 adults and 1 child we spent £60 (not including our drinks). We will definitely be going back again in the...
Read moreOn Saturday me and my partner ordered our food at 19:17, a lady answered took the order and said she would call us 5 mins before we need to set off. Didn’t take my name. An hour passes and no call to say food ready so I call them exactly one hour after we placed our order. No answer, presumed they was busy and we got in car and headed down. Upon arriving, my partner explained we have been waiting an hour and 15 min, which her reply was “you ordered over 2 hours ago, I’ve called you”, he proceeded to show her out call log and the fact she hadn’t phoned us AT ALL!! wouldn’t look at phone just kept waving hands. A male came and asked what the problem was, once informed offered to make us the food we had been waiting over an hour for. Due to the lady’s poor customer service, lack of respect and out right lying, we would not accept that and left and went else where. It’s a shame as we was told the food was amazing. Won’t be returning. We don’t like to be made out to be liars, should have just apologised to us and been...

Away from the hustle and bustle of the Promenade areas you'll find this but quaint and unassuming restaurant / take-away. Just a short drive or casual walk about 3/4 mile up Waterloo Road from the South Promenade is where you'll find Eat Itlaian on the corner of Marton Drive at the traffic lights. Greeted by the very pleasant owner Marzia and her husband Rosario we had the most enjoyable meal that my wife and I had in a very long time. The customary G & T along with a Beer preceded the Pate as a starter, which was home made and simply superb, (none of your pre-packed supermarket stuff). Then came the main courses of Chicken and Lasagne which were plentiful, well presented and piping hot. Not forgetting the Profiteroles to finish things off which again were delicious. Let me say, without fear of contradiction, Eat Italian must surely be one of the best small restaurants in Blackpool. We will definitely visit this restaurant again when next in...
