Can't comment on rooms as didn't stay just ate here. Gave it a go as it we were passing and I'm so glad we did. Service was second to none Amy's customer service is spot on. Food was bloody brilliant I had loaded nachos for starters perfect for a cold autumn night seasoned beautifully. I'm rubbish with spicy food but the chillie was spot on. Other half had halloumi fries which came with salad garnish and an onion chutney that complimented the halloumi very well. Mains I had the bloomy chicken burger and upgraded my fries to salt and pepper chips really well presented and tasted amazing so glad I upgraded to the s&p chips they were amazing.. so good the fella kept pinching them. He had the pie of the day which was steak and gravy, very impressed. Piping hot and very tasty. Best pub grub around first time visit for me other half had been before but just for drinks. Hugely impressed will definitely be back in the future

Well placed pub for the local football ground. Had plenty staff on who were pleasant enough, but they didn't work very quickly. A fairly decent selection of beers but nothing I would consider a good craft beer. Won't accept card payments under £5 which is annoying and rare in this day and age. Advertised a sample tray of three one-third of different ales but then said it wasn't available.

Shocking service unless you are sat next to the supposed management, Not what you expect from a award winning dorbiere pub

This is a review of the accommodation, not the pub, which I can see is a popular and lively watering hole that sells some good locally brewed cask ales.||Stayed here with my son and grandson whilst over for a few days of Pleasure Beach and football related fun.||Couldn’t really have too many complaints about the room - spacious with 2 double beds and a seating area. Even the bathroom was ok, despite the complaints of some reviewers on another site.||Staff were welcoming and friendly enough, showing us the side access to avoid having to traipse through the pub each time we came back to the room||A bit disappointing that there was no longer on-site car parking as advertised (car park now a beer garden) but not a real problem as plenty of on-street parking around the immediate area.||The real problem was the fact that our room seemed to be directly over the karaoke bar, which on our first night (a Friday) ran until 1.30am. Luckily the following night’s karaoke finished at midnight. Worth noting if you are over during a weekend or have young children in your party.||The room wasn’t particularly cheap, but accommodation seemed at a premium, possibly because Covid restrictions had limited everyone to staycations. No breakfast included, but a handy Lidl just across the road that has a bakery section.||Would probably have justified a 4* review if not for the intrusion of the early...

Amazing to finally get away. Booked this as a last minute base. Parking is not the best and manage your own expectations as this is a pub. First night was quiet but second night was more lively, football on followed by music. But it's a pub, and a good one at that! So not suitable for young families or if you are put off by noise. But the team at the Brewhouse are super friendly, helpful and welcoming. Couldn't ask for more. No breakfast available but a bakery literally 2 mins across the road who do a fabulous breakfast. When we visited there was no hr food available and no one let us know prior to arrival, bit bad, but lots of food and shops close by. Check before you visit as they do normally offer lunch, evening food. Room was large, lots of space, 3 beds 2 single and a double. Large bathroom and shower. Table and chairs. Tea tray. Very happy. Great stay and would definitely come back. Lovely people and great location only 20 minutes stroll to the sea front and tram line. Right in-between either the pleasure beach and South Pier or The town and golden mile. Thank you...
