This is a review of the accommodation, not the pub, which I can see is a popular and lively watering hole that sells some good locally brewed cask ales.||Stayed here with my son and grandson whilst over for a few days of Pleasure Beach and football related fun.||Couldn’t really have too many complaints about the room - spacious with 2 double beds and a seating area. Even the bathroom was ok, despite the complaints of some reviewers on another site.||Staff were welcoming and friendly enough, showing us the side access to avoid having to traipse through the pub each time we came back to the room||A bit disappointing that there was no longer on-site car parking as advertised (car park now a beer garden) but not a real problem as plenty of on-street parking around the immediate area.||The real problem was the fact that our room seemed to be directly over the karaoke bar, which on our first night (a Friday) ran until 1.30am. Luckily the following night’s karaoke finished at midnight. Worth noting if you are over during a weekend or have young children in your party.||The room wasn’t particularly cheap, but accommodation seemed at a premium, possibly because Covid restrictions had limited everyone to staycations. No breakfast included, but a handy Lidl just across the road that has a bakery section.||Would probably have justified a 4* review if not for the intrusion of the early...

Read moreAmazing to finally get away. Booked this as a last minute base. Parking is not the best and manage your own expectations as this is a pub. First night was quiet but second night was more lively, football on followed by music. But it's a pub, and a good one at that! So not suitable for young families or if you are put off by noise. But the team at the Brewhouse are super friendly, helpful and welcoming. Couldn't ask for more. No breakfast available but a bakery literally 2 mins across the road who do a fabulous breakfast. When we visited there was no hr food available and no one let us know prior to arrival, bit bad, but lots of food and shops close by. Check before you visit as they do normally offer lunch, evening food. Room was large, lots of space, 3 beds 2 single and a double. Large bathroom and shower. Table and chairs. Tea tray. Very happy. Great stay and would definitely come back. Lovely people and great location only 20 minutes stroll to the sea front and tram line. Right in-between either the pleasure beach and South Pier or The town and golden mile. Thank you...
