Pandoro Pizzeria — Local services in Great Britain

This is the 2nd time we’ve eaten in, sadly not a patch on our 1st visit, I had the same both times yet 2nd time lacked in flavour, tho they did customise my pasta dish to my requirements, apart from adding chopped parsley instead of requested basil, it wasn’t a colour addition I wanted it was for taste. Mum had same starter which had decreased in size immensely, very thin slice of goats cheese served on very thin slice of bread which once toasted became crisp and difficult to eat, she had been looking forward to the starter so much after her 1st visit. Mum had tropical pizza for main which again was disappointing due to toppings being too small for flavour, once I’ve revamped it she’ll enjoy for tonight’s dinner. My dad’s starter of garlic mushrooms didn’t have many mushrooms being just 3/4 small sized, his main was fine. We did have a little issue with the wine, mum drinks Zinfandel but last time I remembered it was a little dry so she asked to try some 1st, this wine was fine so they ordered a bottle, yet the bottled served was totally different in flavour and colour, I could see the bottle in the fridge that they’d sampled and it’s clearly a different brand of Zinfandel, thankfully they did change the bottle. Our server lacked the personal touch of asking is everything ok with meal and offering any freshly ground pepper, I carry my own little pepper mill so added my own, yet it’s usually a standard thing offered when eating Italian, on our 1st visit we found the young server to be very attentive with his tables even tho it was just as busy. Overall mum and me will give it another go, hopefully it’ll be back to the 1st...

Tried this place for the first time tonight. Very impressed .. We will be going back.

We had the goats cheese starter, very well presented as shown in photos .. tasty and a nice light starter.

My partner had the Gamberoni Crema - king prawns, garlic, muscles and spinach in a creamy sauce. He said it was very tasty and that there was a good amount of prawns in there.

I had Terry's special - spaghetti with bacon, chorizo, salami, chicken, onions, olives, chilli, garlic and a touch of olive oil in a napoli sauce. I asked for it without the olives and chilli. Very tasty 👍

We also shared a cheese and mushroom garlic bread .. this was nice but personally could have done with a touch more garlic.

Over all very happy with our first visit .. friendly staff who offered good advice on what to have, good portion sizes, and food was still piping hot when it got here .. there was steam coming off it when we...

We did a takeaway pizza order. The gentleman who took our order was polite and willing to help us with the order. He stated 20-30 minutes, so we drove out to get the cash required for two large double pepperoni with extra chorizo and gralic pizza, we decided to treat ourselves to a tiramasue each. The gentleman offered us extra garlic bread with cheese and tomato. The drive took us around 10 minutes before we arrived, and we found the restaurant to be very quant, and their was a friendly, homely vib about the place we found our order was ready to pick up. When we come back to our caravan for a week in the summer, we hope to use restaurant facilities. Unfortunately, there are no photos as the food smelt and looked too good to leave waiting to take...
