Firehouse Grill — Restaurant in England

I wouldn’t even give this place one star! But I have to,so I can write this review It’s that bad I had ordered the salmon and the waitress told me her self it take 30 minutes to cook which is correct obviously! So after probably would have been 20 mins they bring out everything ones food I wasn’t expecting mine to come aswell but it’s did though it was a bit strange, to find I cut the middle open and it’s was actually just raw how disgusting! Lucky I only tried a little bit off the end! I called the waitress over she was so shocked herself she apologise and took it off me and asked me if I would like something else,so I said ok and ordered the chicken raps instead and then to find the chicken wasn’t actually cooked probably I’m so horrified at this point I just didn’t eat anything and I just wanted to leave the bill comes and they actually tried charging me for the meal! I was not happy I called the waitress and she had called her manager over and ask what’s the problem was and after me telling her she was happy to take it off so then I just ended up paying for the chips which wasn’t a problem but they wasn’t that nice either just so disgusting that they could Send food out like that! I actually had a bad stomach for 2 days from the food! Please don’t ever go there the chefs learn to cook properly I could of cook it...

WORST FOOD & MANAGERS RESPONSE WAS SHOCKING !! Came in as a family for our last meal, all I wanted was a buttermilk chicken burger. First of all They got my daughters order wrong but told us “we must’ve orders this” they brought me out a tiny and cheap looking bun filled with 3 dry chicken strips from the kids menu in a cheap warburtons bun but just grilled it to try and make it look fancy!!! I told them I have the wrong order as I ordered a chicken burger and not 3 strips from kids menu, was told this is what the burger is, they told me they’ve spoken to head office about it and not willing to change it! I spoke to the manager who was mega rude and said “there is no refund option but I can get you another meal, 100’s of people have eaten the same thing today and not complained!!!” I did not want to wait for another meal when all my family had finished so I asked him if he could put a dessert or something quick on as I haven’t been given a burgers he said no!!!!! Food was small, burnt, dry and over priced which is a shame as all the other restaurants in butlins offers great value for money. They make you pay for the food before you enter and now I know why. Disgraceful service and food, Would advise anyone to think twice before wasting...

Firehouse Grill is essentially an attempt to replicate Nandos. The food was OK, but really nothing special. The service however was on a level rarely witnessed! We waited 10 min to be seated, so seated ourselves - which clearly upset the Maitre D‘ to the extent she refused my 5yr old a second packet of crayons to colour with! 😂

20 minutes later I asked a random waitress if we could order food. She apologised and said she would arrange it. We then watched her continue to walk over to a large booth and clear it of dishes, wipe it down and lay it! Luckily I had flagged down what turned out to be our actual waiter in the meantime and placed our order. (Albeit the only non chicken option of a rack of ribs had run out - which ruled out the sharing platter we wanted.)

During our meal we were entertained by a lady having a stand up argument with the manager, another couple being offered free drinks for the wait, a family of four querying why some of their order was missing and another couple simply walking out before their drinks had arrived!

Fair to say we won’t...
