Just home from a fantastic meal in florios. The staff are the friendliest most patient and hard working staff. We arrived on an extremely busy night with people queuing out the door to be seated. Everyone being happy to wait to be seated was instantly a good sign! Once seated staff were so attentive and very friendly. Nothing was a bother and everything was done with a smile. The waiting staff really worked their socks off all the while still smiling, even in this extreme heat. They also had great rapport with all the customers. The food…..wow! Delicious! Big portions and everyone’s tasted amazing. My two younger daughters wanted to omit some ingredients and also change the spaghetti to penne…again, not an issue. All the food is freshly cooked in an open kitchen where the customers can watch fresh pizzas and pastas being made and can see how much love and attention goes into the dishes. The puddings were also superb. All four of us had something different and only my 9 year old had something left on her plate at the end ….because she was to full to finish! The food in this place was just so good and the prices were so affordable. Highly recommend if you are in Malton and looking for freshly cooked Italian food. Amazing! 5 stars……wish we...

Con artists and theives for the quality that we were given that night.

I’ve been to the one in Scarborough several times, I had a regular table at one point over the years and always throughly enjoyed it. Unfortunately this falls drastically short to say the least. Rather annoying as it was for a milestone birthday.

Service wasn’t great, my partners vegetarian lasagna was way over cooked and the pasta had gone to mush. I ordered calzone, the sauce in the top was acidic, it needed sugar and seasoning, the top was also burnt. There was an actual puddle of water on my plate after I cut into it. When approaching staff they said the pasta may of been like it because it’s layered and it was unavoidable; the calzone they admitted shouldn’t be full of water but that was unavoidable because its folded… To top it all off they don’t just leave the quality ingredients from the food they don’t put them in the drinks either. I’d ordered and had to pay for a disarano and coke and all that came was a coke! They kept saying that it had disarano in but we were sat by the bar and I watched them make both our drinks with a distinct lack...

If you enjoy good Italian food , DO NOT EAT HERE ! This place is a sorry excuse for an Italian restaurant . It was a very disappointing experience & we only booked this place due to the good reviews on the website . (I would imagine they cannot be genuine reviews) . We booked a table for 8 & ordered 4 pizzas , which were ok , 2 pasta dishes & 2 meat dishes , the meat dishes were very mediocre , but the 2 ravioli dishes were absolutely disgusting . When the dish was put down in front of me , the sauce , (which was supposed to be porchini mushroom , cream & Sardinian sausage ,) looked like it was packet soup mix , definitely no sign of cream or mushrooms , the sausage was like mini hotdog slices & the ravioli filling tasted like nothing on earth , a disgusting , strange flavour . I am do not a professional chef , but i am a good cook & have made far better pasta sauces than this . I find it hard to believe how this place is still trading . We did complain , but the owner refused to come & speak to us . That about sums this place up I’m afraid . We will not be back & we definitely...

Really nice little Italian restaurant tucked into the lovely town of Malton. Food was very very good, the pasta dishes in particular were a big highlight. The Al'arrabiatta and Amrtriciana had really nice taste with the former having a good spice level as it should. The latter is preferred with Rigatoni but was still very nice. Portion sizes are very sizeable and there is a good variety of pasta, pizza and other foods on the menu. The pizza I must say was not the best I have had, had the Pompei with salami and pepperoni which was a good flavour but there was too much cheese on it for a real quality Italian pizza unfortunately we really took away from it. I've never known an Italian pizza to be stringy. Service was polite and quick and the atmosphere was lovely and being able to watch the food being cooked is really lovely also. Seating is perhaps a bit tight. On the whole a real nice restaurant and would definitely go back.

2.5/5 Was staying in Malton over the weekend and decided to have some pasta for dinner. It was okay. It was barely seasoned and tasted like something I’d cook for myself at home when I just want something quickly thrown together. Meatballs had a very weird Play-doh texture and were overdone with rosemary (or basil) as if the meat taste was being masked for whatever reason. Also ordered bruschetta with pate for starters. I’ve never seen pate served with a thick layer of solid frozen fat on top that you have to take off to get to pate. The pot was so huge as well, felt like a waste, because was too much for 1 person. Haven’t tried pizza, but I wouldn’t recommend coming here for pasta dishes.

Visited for the first time tonight, what a lovely little hidden gem in Malton- we have been visiting Malton yearly for over 10 years and never spotted this restaurant! Would recommend booking as we did tonight. Lovely busy atmosphere and staff were friendly and accommodating, pizzas were delicious and the ravioli was lovely although a smaller portion than expected but still filling! We had the profiteroles and limoncini ice cream for dessert which were stunning (however at around £8 each if for example a family of 4 were to get a dessert each it would come to an extra £32 which imo wouldn’t be plausible every time for 2 profiteroles/a portion of ice cream for £8 a go!)
