Im giving 1* review because this wont allow us to give zero!!! HORRIBLEEEE COSTUMER SERVICE TERRIBLE FOOD, terrible prices, environment made us feel like we were shopping in a supermarket or a large carboot, theres stuff packed all over the place, looks awful, but from the outside kinda looked good so thats why we went in and gave it a try. We wished we never did!!! From the beggining as soon as we sat down for a peaceful romantic meal it went wrong!! We ordered a mango juice, arrived a orange mango juice, 99% orange 1% mango, my mrs hated it and wished if they dont have mango juice alone shouldn’t be on the menu or the server should have told us, so she could decide, she hates orange so she would go for something else, instead she didnt drink anything, the servers took the juice back and still tried to charge us on the bill!!! Then we chose couple starters and arrived garlic bread that we didnt even order!!! Next meal: food was bland, rice looked microwaved and no taste at all. Mrs barely ate anything and when we tried to call a server, the young male server was busy eating pizza on the back and still coming to the front serving costumers chewing food and from the table we were seating we could see the whole window where food comes out from and where the waiter was munching on food with his hands. Then the waitresses were too busy cleaning tables and chatting didnt come to our table, the lady on bar that serves drinks was busy putting lipstick and looking herself in mirror in front of costumers like us on tables that were lookingšŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ¤¦ Then we saw the owner ( super rude old man) We told him everything was going wromg and if he had wifi, and he said no people should talk to each other so we dont have wifišŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ¤¦ made me stand up to go look to a sign on the bar that said that!!! And asked me: is costumer service bad here because we dont have wifi??? And i said nooo!!! Everything been going wrong since we arrived!!! Told him everything that went wrong and he said ohh its young waiters they need to learnšŸ˜–šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø well thats not really my problem if they don’t have experience Super rude not smiling nothing to give us 1% of better moment that we were having…WE WILL NEVER GO BACK and wont recommend to anyone!!! Bill on the end was wrong we asked to take juice off and just paid and left!!! No need for desserts or anything we just wanted to get away Absolutely horrible what a...

So a friend and I meet up once a month. For breakfast. And we randomly ended up here. Unaware until passing that a hearty English breakfast would be on the menu at an intalian restaurant. Not being from peterborough, only having lived here a couple of years. Not really sure on where to go for this. Tried a couple of naff places. But was pleasantly surprised with out fry up. We were greeted on arrival. Which is nice. Decent tea bags so enjoyed my cuppa. Only downside was only full fat milk available, but tea bag flavour made up for that. Buttered toast. Two bacon (flavour and crispy) Sausages were really nice.not crappy cheap ones. And chef you made one of the best poached eggs that I have had for a while. Food didn't take long to come. Arrived hot. Perfect amount served. Not bombarded by service. So we could actually catch up. Team members appeared pretty chilled, not stressed out working, which is fantastic to be around. Hopefully means manager is fair and pretty cool in his/hers approach. Place appeared pretty clean. Didn't use restroom. Spotted a chocolate tort. Which you don't see many places. Will be pack. If Asda parking gave more time, we would of had a little browse in the store. Maybe next time. Would like to come back to try out the itailian food. Only down side was alot of back and forth foot traffic, quite close, which overwhelms me,so didn't like that. Would like to return...

First time eating here and unfortunately not very impressed. Myself, partner and our 5 children went for lunch today. The greeting was not overly friendly and we were sat on seperate tables at opposite sides of the restaurant. I didn't mind sitting at different tables but it would have been nice to sit near to each other. We ordered food reasonably quickly and didn't have to wait to long for it to arrive. There is no children's menu but half portions are available. ... not at half the price though. 2 of my girls had a carbonara which they say tasted very egg. I had salmon and asparagus pasta which was ok but the sauce had little to no taste. The pizza and chips, spag bol were lovely. All food was fresh and hot. We were not asked if we needed anything once our meals had arrived so i had to go and ask for parmasan cheese, pepper and oil etc. It is a lovely little restaurant with traditional decor and not overly priced. I would just expect more flavour from the pasta dishes and more personal, friendly service in a restaurant like this. Unfortunately will not be returning and don't think I would recommend to a...

Quite disappointed. We went there for breakfast, and we asked for continental breakfast with preserves, croissants, cheese and cured meats(7 pound each) I also got poached eggs on toast (6 pound). Two other guys got English breakfasts (which were good). The ones who ordered the continental ones were disappointed, me included. Our plates looked quite sad. Continental breakfast has been served with the smallest jam, very low quality croissant. It was the only Italian item on the menu for breakfast, and we are all from Italy, so going to a Italian restaurant we’re aspecting a lot more than that. Poached eggs were poor. I had definitely more gnammy ones somewhere else in town for 1 pound more. The cured meat was good quality. The products are from Italy, but I don’t think the owners or any member of the staff is Italian. We still want to try their pizza, hopefully my review will improve

Cute looking place with a deli counter attached to the cafe. We came here for breakfast - the menu was quite basic, i.e. eggs, sausages and toast plus variations of this, which wasn't what I expected from an Italian restaurant. But anyways, the food was nice enough and the coffee was good which was the most important thing. The service seemed a little rushed - there was only one waitress working and she had no time for pleasantries. It wasn't a problem, just something I noticed.

Red, white and green. The decor is a bit garrish, but charmingly so, and the people running it are a bunch of absolute sweethearts. I've had their pasta before (and i couldn't fault it: excellent food), but this was the first time having their continental breakfast - again, good auality food for a price that's difficult to argue with. I also highly recommend the deli section
