Beautiful Handmade lasagne. And it was worth the eight pounds Paid..(no drink) But.... Long wait, and very little assistance when, trying too open the sachets of sauce or mayonnaise. I couldn't get the fiddly things open And the food was going cold. Icing on the cake.. One assistant sprayed cleaner on to a table near near whilst wearing a mask. I'm Asthmatic and I suspect most of the elderly clientele are also. I'm other establishments they spray a small amount. Into a cloth, and then wipe the table. This stopping the vapour from becoming airborne. Like they do at K.F.C. But the food was good Despite those small gripes.. It reminded me of the hall where I use too have School dinners.. Mrs pontin, and her cauldron of cabbage..

Came here whilst waiting for new tyres to be fitted, there's a deal before 10 for two breakfasts for £11 which is great value, we opted for a bigger breakfast, the food was good, standard greasy spoon type affair, service was decent, only complaint is the coffee was a bit expensive for basic coffee machine quality. There's a lot of seating with allocated area specifically for people with dogs and also outside seating, was a good experience and a great way to kill time.

Very disappointed we have used this restaurant regularly for a few years now but, just before Christmas they decided to stop allowing extra hot water with a pot of tea, now because the pot is small by the time you get it to your table the tea is very strong and extra water is required to regulate the strength in the cup. It was suggested by the owner that the tea bag could be left out for the customers to add, but as any body in catering will tell you the tea needs to be added to boiling water in order to brew and not ten minutes later. I have indicated that I am happy to pay extra for the hot water, after all if I am not able to get tea l am paying for as I like it then what is the point. Please rethink this...
