Located in an industrial park and accessible by a combination of public transport and walking. The meals were decently priced and tasty enough to have a pleasant meal. Quantity of the food was average. I was slightly disappointed with the service. We popped in at lunch time. I believe it was assumed one needed to order food directly from the counter, but no poster or directions mentioned this. One of the staff serving food saw us enter the restaurant, have a seat, and did not bother to tell us about ordering food from the counter. It was only when I walked to them and asked for an item on the menu was when I was told, rudely, that I needed to order from the counter ... which was empty the whole time we were there. I was enthralled by the plants, other greenery, and decorations within the restaurant. It provided a calm environment as we had our meal. The tables were adequately spaced out to avoid overcrowding.

The food was excellent large portions freshly cooked but the diner is cold not very welcoming. It's a bit odd as it looks like a transport cafe. You help yourself to cutlery and servettes every table has tomato ketchup and brown sauce in a rack with salt and pepper ready for the daytime bacon butty and a mug of tea. Nothing changes for the evening Chinese restaurant. Good takeaway trade, portions are great and prices very reasonable. Strange but highly recommended for a good Chinese meal at a good price. Beers and wine available too.

This place is very good,My workmate and I had big breakfasts every morning and they were very nice indeed,It was nice to visit this place while working in the area. It's situated in a busy Industrial Estate. The staff are friendly and welcome. It gets busy at times and is a popular place. It seems to turn into Chinese meals at nights which is a great idea.We certainly enjoyed our daily visits here and the food is nice and fresh and would certainly recommend you visit if your ever in the area

Went here for lunch on my partner's birthday as many other places are closed on a Tuesday in the area. I had phoned to check the latest we could arrive as didn't want to be rushed (said 2.30pm close on website), told by lady to arrive probably by 2, we got there at least by 1.45. Had to go to the bar/till a couple of times to ask a couple of questions, the lady owner had her back to me and seemed put out to answer me each time so felt awkward to start. I ordered a portion of spring rolls, chicken curry and sweet and sour chicken and drinks, all paid for at the start. I went to sit back down and a guy came around us sweeping up! Our food came, my curry first then a few minutes later the starter arrived with my partner's main! All delivered by the lady owner. The guy was finishing sweeping up as we started our meal and shortly after came out with a mop and bucket of strongly smelling cleaning fluid! So we sat trying to eat the meal whilst smelling flash or similar! Unbelievable. We got halfway through and tried to get attention to take the rest with us but the owner had already left and we managed to get the chefs attention when he came out of the kitchen. He was very nice and I have to say so was the food but the...

I found this diner whilst waiting for an MOT around the corner and had a breakfast. Highly recommended. I came back a number of times and had different breakfast variations . Again highly recommended. My husband started coming for breakfasts and again highly recommended. He was impressed and is a very difficult person to please with food. The staff are very friendly and there is WIFI available. Then we tried the Chinese take away meal - special fried rice, Sweet and sour chicken balls and some other things. All was very good. The chicken balls were the best in town. We even received the fortune cookies which were fun and the free prawn crackers warm and lovely. I normally go for Tai food as having tried other Chinese takeaways in Weymouth, they were incredibly bad. One i had to bin the food as the chicken balls - my favourite Chinese food, were grey and squeaky. Put me off and never again go these places again - as one bad experience puts of for life.. This little place is a hidden gem. We moved to Weymouth four years ago and only found this Diner by chance. Reasonable prices too Very highly...
