I drove one hour to be disappointed, everything was tooooo salty, I just tasted salt for the fried yam plus the fish was too seasoning that made the fish taste like salt. Paid £18 expecting get more than what I got, I had to throw away the yam and only eat some of the fish meat and couldn’t eat the skin. When I got to the restaurant to collect the food plus pay she got the next customer who came after me food and let him pay then had conversation so I had to wait. Never again going back there really don’t know how she got 4.9 reviews maybe it’s her family and friend. I know that African dishes have seasoning and salt but all I am saying is it was too much. I went to Ghana along with went to African restaurant in London that’s the reason why I ordered that dish, I was expecting the same taste but it was like you just put a cup full of seasoning and salt on to the food, you might as well just gave me salt and seasoning to eat.

I ordered catfish pepper soup and ofada and they were both really nice. The service was remarkable and very fast. I enjoyed my experience very much.

Highly would not recommend ordering from here unless you want tomato rice barely tastes like jollof (usually nice and spicy from other shops) and a portion of 2 small pieces of beef. This was the large box meal deal. Plantain costs only 50p but there’s only 4 pieces in the container. The flavour is barely there and was highly disappointed with the portion sizes....

Mojollof jollof rice is the best I've had in the Midlands....i can't wait for them to come to Newcastle. The service is excellent, the gizdodo is amazing, the exotic soup (ayamase) is finger-licking delicious and the home-made recipe puff-puffs simply want you to put all other snacks aside.

I definitely have them on my...
