Morrisons Cafe — Restaurant in England

I am a seasoned veteran customer of Morrison Cafe. I have been having my big fry up breakfast since 2005.

Recently I have seen a significant drop in the quality of food being served. The sausages, hashbrown and toast used to be fuller and thicker. Now, cafe serves thinner and drier sausages. Trying to increase their profit margin I imagine.

Not just that, I paid £8.00 for my Ultimate Breakfast. I ended up getting the same as Big Breakfast with an extra sausage. I didn’t bother complaining and this has happened to me more than couple of times.

The black coffee taste far worse than instant coffee. There is no taste of Arabica beans and the shuttle hints of flavours that you get from black coffee. Honestly, they charge overpriced amount of money for the poor quality coffee that the serve. You can get a better coffee at a corner shop near train station.

There is no quality control check on the food being served out. I don’t see cafe manager around, never! Staff seem sometimes hot n cold, who can blame them. Probably short staffed.

I am not going back to this cafe. I need to find new breakfast joint, probably M&S in Sandhurst. I am happy to make the journey from Bracknell to avoid going to this Bracknell Café.

At last, Morrison Management, please don’t be complacent. Come down to the café to find for yourself. Tighten up your standards, train your staff and lastly serve better...

We came a little late do unfortunately could not try your scrambled egg or fried egg but had an amazing meal nonetheless. The staff where helpful and friendly, assisting us with any questions or just general recommendations as well as assisting an elderly couple with there trays. The cafe offered a cosy feel while maintaining (what I was surprised to say) a high standard of food. Good quality bread and produce upon the plate, piping hot food and adequate seating that allowed us to watch the world go by. In a world driven by watching the £££ you get a lot for your money here and it is worth it. For about £18 we got a white Americano, jacket potato beans/cheese with fresh salad. A full English AND an ultimate English!! Something that really filled our hungry tummies today.

Donna you were fabulous and amazing, as where the rest of the staff but you made us feel welcomed and we appreciate your hard work. We look forward to seeing this cafe again!

Unbelievably bad! I came in here at noon, hoping for fish and chips and instead was told by a sullen member of staff that they only did breakfast. So I ordered the breakfast. When it came, after what seemed like an age, it had items missing and I had to request them from that same sullen, bad tempered member of staff. The atmosphere of the place was awful - tables with dirty plates, filth everywhere. Nobody had bothered to clear the tables, let alone clean them. As for the breakfast, it was extremely poor quality. This has got to be one of the worst place I ever had the misfortune to use for a meal....
