Greggs — Restaurant in England

I visited with my partner and friend just after 12pm on 10.12.23, it was pouring with rain and Greggs was quite busy. Despite them being busy, I saw 3 staff members behind the counter, one serving and the other 2 behind the scenes working away. The lady behind the counter was impeccable at her job, serving customers while completing orders, clearly multitasking, in a quick and friendly manner. I did mention to her before we left she was doing a fantastic job. We tried to see the name badge but completely missed it. Real credit to the team. Never had a bad experience at Greggs, and this was certainly one...

So Greggs is a Sandwich shop. I went in and asked if I could have a Chicken onion and Mayonnaise roll.. I was told that they are short staffed and to busy to make my order. And I should have something already prepared. Even though I was the only person in the shop and two other staff members were having a chat. A sandwich shop that cannot make a Sandwich. It was the large Woman that was to busy. Or to Lazy. So I went nextdoor to Subway and got what...

Slow and cold!

Sausage roll was only a few degrees higher than a yum yum purchased! No where near the 63 degrees specified it should be served at by the food standards agency.

Cheap yes but Jesus get a grip and show some passion in your work, the employees show no urgency about people waiting and clearly not keeping food warm.

Il be going to Tesco refrigerated section for a warmer sausage...
