Hammond's Café — Restaurant in England

I popped in for breakfast whist waiting for my car to have a service and MOT at Snows garage nearby. Welcoming, friendly clean and comfortable. A nice choice on the menu and a daily special as well as cakes. Everything is cooked or made to order. I had a vegetarian breakfast, I'm not vegetarian but fancied being a bit healthier. It was cooked to perfection, delicious sausage, mushrooms, fried egg, beans, tomato and a slice of toast with butter. I enjoyed the decaf latte coffee so much I had another cup, I also had a slice of toast and marmalade. I was very comfortable sitting alone enjoying my food. It set me up nicely for a good walk into Paignton and around the shops and seafront. I worked up a thirst and appetite so I popped in again on my way back for lunch. I thoroughly enjoyed a ham and tomato sandwich. The ham was baked on the premises, thickly sliced and really tasty. I highly recommend this friendly cafe. It's well...

Lovely little family run cafe on Winner Street in Paignton. Large menu selection at very reasonable prices and will happily tailor the menu to suit your needs. (Ie if you like your eggs a certain way they’ll do their best to accommodate) I had the ham omelette and it came with chips and a nice side salad. Was a good size and cooked perfectly, a nice fluffy omelette with large pieces of ham and just the right balance of chips and salad. My parents also had ham and chips and an omelette and enjoyed their meals.

They also carried a nice variety of cakes but due to having to get a train back to Kent I didn’t have time to sample those, so that will be a good reason...

I’m a motorcycle courier based in London and I have the pleasure of driving all over the country and I had a delivery to do in Torquay. I brought my wife and daughter with me and we stopped off at this lovely little place. Quite possibly the best cafe I’ve had to date. Not only was it reasonably priced but it wasn’t the typical oily rubbish you get nowadays. Home cooked food at its best. My only regret is not getting more than just chips for myself. My wife ended up having the kings portion. Customer was service was lovely and I just loved the warm atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this little establishment....
