Lovely family run B&B, we stayed at Paignton court for two nights at the beginning of September. Paul, Hayley and family couldn’t be more welcoming on arrival. We stayed in a larger room with a super king bed and a pull-out bed for our daughter. The room is modern and comfy with a lovely shower room and all the essential soaps etc. The room benefits from a good-sized wardrobe and under bed storage drawers (so useful for clothing) the sideboard dresser had a good-sized kettle and a lovely selection of tea/ coffee, hot chocolate and more than two tea bags in fact enough to have two or three cups a day! The B&B is clean and tidy with modern decorating throughout, you can see the owners are working hard to modernise when they can. The small but functional bar and restaurant is lovely, good comfy chairs and a well-stocked bar with a TV for all those important events (Kings first address to the nation) The breakfast choice is lovely with the English fried breakfast offering all the traditional items and the bacon was decent and didn’t fall apart. Each room benefits from one parking space, and this is so handy, the B&B is located less than 150m from the bustling sea front and arcades, ideal for anyone who can’t walk far. This as an excellent place to stay and urge anyone reading this review to book!

We managed a late booking for three nights. The room was small and utterly spotless, the bathroom was modern and again spotlessly clean. We had the use of a fan in the room, which I thought was a nice touch. Hayley and Paul were very welcoming, friendly and approachable. The two young ladies we saw at breakfast were polite and efficient. The dining room/bar was light, airy and again spotless, even the sauce bottle tops were clean. Breakfast was absolutely delicious with good ingredients used. All in all, we found ourselves a real gem of place to stay, and will hopefully be able to return one day (not if they keep getting 5 stars from customers though haha)

We stayed here for 3 nights and I couldn't fault the place. The owners were delightful and very helpful. The breakfast room/bar was roomy and full of light, there is a small communal conservatory for sitting in and reading, parking is free albeit limited. The entire place was immaculate. Our room also was small but comfortable, well furnished and spotless. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

My wife & I visited Paigton for a week in August 2025, and we stayed at Paignton Court and were not disappointed. On arriving, we were greeted by Paul, who was very pleasant and welcoming and explained everything to us about the B&B and Paignton itself. The B&B was absolutely spotless, and our room was beautiful, spotless, and catered for our every need. We didn't arrive till late afternoon so we didn't venture far and as Paul had told us the bar opened at 6 and also food was served in there from 6 till 7.30 we decided to stay there and have a bite to eat. The bar was very well stocked and very comfortable. Hailey then came and introduced herself to us and took our food order. The food was beautiful and cooked to perfection and very reasonably priced as well. We ate in the bar a few times during our stay. Hailey & Paul then sat in the bar and chatted to all their guests who were in there, which was very enjoyable. They are a wonderful couple who can't do enough for you during your stay, the rooms are cleaned to a high standard every day, the bar food is beautiful, great choice at breakfast and cooked perfectly. This was our first stay at Paignton Court, and it definitely won't be out last. We would like to thank Paul, Hailey & Caroline for making us feel so welcome and for making our stay so enjoyable.and Thank you for your hospitality, which was second to...

We have just come back from a real home from home in Paignton court. When you meet the guests who come back year after year tells you that the owners Paul and Hayley must be doing something different to keep their guests happy. For us the difference is that they go the extra mile to make sure that all your needs are catered for. As for the rooms, there is a lot of hard work gone into keeping it to a high standard of cleanliness and decor.|As for breakfast, there is a really wide choice from fresh fruit to fruit juice, cereals, porridge, full English breakfast with all the trimmings and my favourite Poached eggs on toast. Also if you come back to the hotel after a day out you have the chance to sample the menu that Paul and Hayley offer in the bar downstairs. This is where you can relax and have the opportunity to catch up with the other guests and there are some lovely couples to chat about their day and Paul and Hayley are always at hand to give any advice on where to go and the attractions to see. All in all Paignton Court is the only place to go for a relaxing holiday where you will treated to a great time. We have been fortunate enough to be coming here for a number of years and we have already booked the same week for next...
