Henry's Cafe — Restaurant in England

Generally good quality cafe food at reasonable prices served with a smile. Plenty of space inside or outside. It’s just changed ownership, unfortunately disappointed with the sandwiches we had today. All fresh ingredients but what was served was more or a ‘builder’s butty’, served on a massive carb overdose wedge of bread The filling had very large chunks of cucumber mixed in the tuna mayo filling. The ham sandwich didn’t fair too much better either as the mustard was just plastered on thickly like 1970s Artex. Decent cafe, there don't seem many in Prestbury as the emphasis seems to be more on pubs and wine bars with limited opening hours, so this is a relative gem. We liked the friendly and attentive service from some of the staff, the tea was decent (appears to be Yorkshire tea teabags). Veggie breakfast had avocado missing with no explanation, but was nice. Overall a good experience, would go again if in the area. Outdoor and indoor seating available. Cakes looked interesting but not tried. Beware, salads have a lot of onion so if you are an onion...

We first stumbled across Henry's pre covid. The bfast was so delicious but expensive so we agreed to keep it for special occasions. Today's visit has left me feeling sick. The bfast has below average. Halloumi over cooked, slightly raw poached eggs and very weak coffee. We begrudgingly paid £27 and vowed we will never return. Shame really.. we loved going to Prestbury. They must have had a change of ownership. The ingredients used were average. Prices have gone up but quality has gone down. Sorry Henry's.. can't spend that kinda money of food that...
