A couple of weeks ago, I joined Hextol for their Caribbean-themed soirée. Photographed is the main and the desert. The thought and care put into the dishes, and the evening could be felt. Everything was homemade and made vegan and vegetarian friendly, with options for those who require gluten-free. A memorable evening with a community atmosphere. With a warm welcome, and staff who are friendly and helpful, this vegetarian cafe has a decent menu, with many vegan options. Additionally, it is in itself a worthwhile cause as it seeks to employ people with mental health issues and learning disabilities as part of its charitable aims. The principles of this establishment is first class...lovely to see an organisation supporting people with disabilities and a great atmosphere and vibes... However, both my special cauliflower and potato curry and my wife's special roasted veg lasagne lacked any flavour! My anticipation for a brilliant curry was lost after my first mouthful...
