House of Hop Darlington — Restaurant in England

Lovely bar. I was in Darlington for a couple of days, just wandering around, and hoped to find a nice bar for a couple of decent drinks, preferably local. I was reluctantly heading of to the Wetherspoons, and came across the Hop House. Nice beer and very friendly staff. Music is always on point. Mostly not modern hits but great songs from the past few decades, playing at the right volume so you can still have a conversation. The beer is the best in town. Constantly changing and always high quality. It's never been particularly busy when I've been in, so I hope it increases in popularity as this place is lovely. Haven't been for the live music but it's on fairly regularly...

Awesome space, staff are so kind and welcoming you cannot beat it. They do 1/2 1/3 and full pint of any beer or cider you want. The room itself is comfy and the lighting is on point = when it's dark! Will deffo be back 😊
