Istanbul Turkish BBQ — Restaurant in England

I am so sorry to have to write this. I needed to eat and was parked by this place so I decided to eat there.It was empty and I was the only person eating. Being empty should have warned me being the only person there and about nine other empty tables. I ordered a mixed chicken doner kebab. When it arrived I have immediately noticed the chicken was finely shredded an burnt on edges and the d.lamb was curled an rock hard. I had two mouthfulls. Then I got lucky cos a friend rang and I said to the staff I need to go can they wrap it . They did that and I paid the £ 8.50 and left..Two mouthfulls was enough it was awful. I later fed it to my dog and he suffered diarrhea an hour after eating it. One star for the Turkish tea I drank and the portable heater they put next to me cos it was freezing. Around the corner from this place we're two kebabs and a chicken restaurant and they had lots of customers. I should have trusted my instincts and not eaten there. I decided that was a good experience as I often eat with friends and if I had taken anyone else there I would have been embarrassed. Learning experience for £8.50 was worth it .will never eat...

Authentic and fantastic tasting Turkish food with an absolutely delicious home-made chilli sauce. So glad I went there on the way home from a work related excursion instead of grabbing food in Luton at home. I am most definitely coming back to eat from there again. The food price is very good for what you get and most definitely does not disappoint when in the mouth.

Well worth a visit if looking for good food.

Just an update for December

I went back and this time took my boys and cousin with me. I am so happy I did as we all had a fabulous meal and I even found someone who traveled further than me who came to eat there too. This place is amazing. I love the fact that I get good portions with good fresh salad for a reasonable price. It’s not often that I get to go to a place that everyone enjoyed. Now I have to figure out reasons to be in the area so I can come back regularly!!!

So during the hottest day of the year so far The Mad Alexander's took a visit to review Istanbul Turkish BBQ in Cannon Street in Wellingborough but we did not come once but twice !!! The first time, myself and my wife came in and ordered 2 x double cheeseburgers and 2 cans, they made the restaurant very cool by putting fans out for the customers, the food didn't take too long to come out !!! The burgers were well presented in a sesame seeded bun with two massive ¼ pounder burgers which were good quality beefburgers at £5 each not bad considering the size of them. We waited until the kids finished school to finish off our full review. The kids also picked cheeseburgers but my daughter ordered the Hallumi starter which consisted of 5 large sticks of hot Hallumi sticks on a bed of salad. Both my son and daughter scoffed it down now for my..... ( not announced, not biased review)
