This is a much swisher-looking place on the inside than the frontage suggests. The name evokes ideas of a "homely" traditional place but here is something that appears to promise more.
It is such a shame that the food didn't live up to that promise. I have only visited once and had the veggie breakfast. It consisted of three or four shrivelled mushrooms, sausages created from chopped vegetables but tasted of nothing but the oil they were cooked in and the potato waffle and scrambled eggs were similarly-flavoured.
