I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. We've been for years with family, but this evening we finally took our 18month old too. The staff were AMAZING. Our child had his food super quick and timed well so that he was eating while we ordered (plus crackers on arrival) so by the time we had our own food, he could enjoy more of ours. There were 12 of us eating tonight and all the food was incredibly delicious. We're SO full. By the time we'd finished our starters and mains our little one was fed up, but the staff were playing peekaboo with him, high fives with him and just making sure we were all feeling welcome and not rushed at all. They asked first and brought him some ice cream, then let him wander round the restaurant, again, they were more than happy to see him doing this and in turn he was so excited and happy being there. It's really hard finding relaxed family friendly restaurants but I just feel the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and looked after - on top of looking after a busy restaurant and our own table of 12 people. Thoroughly enjoyed our food, evening and experience. Please...
Read moreWhat a gem of a Chinese restaurant! Ranks among my top 3 ever Chinese (and I've been to a lot in my 46 years, given it's my favourite cuisine) - it might even be my favourite Chinese restaurant, but it has some strong competition to contend with so that's a tough decision. We had duck with pancakes to start. This was delicious with yummy, yummy hoi sin, my only gripe was they didn't tear up the duck at the table, which adds a bit to the dining experience. Mains we had crispy shredded beef with chilli and lemon chicken. Both were delicious. The service was attentive and friendly but not intrusive, and we bumped into someone we know, who eats there every month without fail. If that's not putting your money where your mouth is (literally lol) then I don't know what is. Highly...
