Such a shame I really wanted to like it here. We visited three times. The first time I had avacado and pesto on toast and loved it. The second time I had banana and apple on toast, not too bad, a tad dry. My daughter had the bagel which was overdone, so too hard. The third time my son and daughter had the ethos bowl, I think it's called. It was like gruel, dry and bland and I had the spanokopita, which was very sloppy. I assumed it had been warmed up in the microwave but the waitress insisted they don't have a microwave, she said they heat them up in the oven, that being the case it was seriously under cooked. That aside the drinks were lovely and the staff are very polite.

Favourite place to eat in Macclesfield. Food is epic, the family run atmosphere is so warm and friendly and the decor helps you relax. I'd recommend the hummus and pitta with whatever you have, it's great! The canolis are excellent, (I think the hazelnut one was my favourite) and I'm also a big fan of the milkshakes! If you fancy something healthy, the salad bowls are delicious, if you want to treat yourself, the Yeeros are top tier. It's hard to believe that everything is vegan! Honestly can't wait to come back!

Had lunch here with my partner who is a wheelchair user and the staff were great at getting the ramp for us and welcomed us both in. The food is very good and has a lot of gluten free and vegan options. They have now started adding meat options to their menu but the food is more focused around vegan which makes a change. The drinks were very well done too, they have a great selection of specialty lattes and healthy drinks which added to the pleasant experience. Definitely worth checking out 😊

Been to this spot twice, the first time it was great, lovely red velvet latte with great service. I decided to go back more recently, it was very disappointing. Firstly, the service was poor, we felt like we were causing an inconvenience by being there! Admittedly it was the last hour before closing but if you don't want people to come in at this time then just close the doors earlier rather than sacrifice the service and make customers feel unwelcome. Secondly, it was certainly not good value for money. It is an upmarket hipster type cafe so of course it will be expensive, but in most cases the increased price is reflected by good quality gear. Perhaps it was the time of day we were in, but the reluctantly prepared smoothies we had (at almost £7 each!) were lacking in flavour and were very thin in consistency - to my taste a smoothie should be quite thick, substantial and filling - especially at that price. The cake was also sub-par, the sponge, although light, was very dry and quite bland. The icing was ok but it unfortunately couldn't redeem the cake as a whole. I understand that vegan ingredients often come at a premium price, along with the fact that sometimes it is difficult to get things right all of the time, but what was going to be a nice treat ended up being a hollow disappointment. I would have scored it fewer stars had my first visit not been so good, maybe the standards are starting to slip now a good first impression has been made. I will most likely give ethos concept store another go in the future, but this visit really made me feel like I would have been better off buying my own ingredients and preparing the cake and smoothies myself at home. I may well give Ethos another go at some point, but my latest visit was...

Came here a few weeks ago with my friend for her birthday lunch. To preface she is intolerant to gluten and lactose (not a proper allergy but makes her unwell). We tried to order the chicken Yeero but wanted one with gluten free pita (they had this but only a pork and vegan option), upon ordering we were told the chefs were unwilling to change the bread and the menu was the menu with no changes. We ended up leaving due to the total disregard for dietary requirements and being told we could only have pork or vegan options which wasn’t what we wanted. I was extremely unhappy that the chefs were unwilling to change the bread as it was available, the cafe was empty bar one other patron. In the end we were actually recommended somewhere else that was willing to adhere to dietary requirements by the other patron. The fact we were told the menu was the menu and the chefs were unwilling to make any changes was ridiculous as the menu was not made to fit every dietary requirements. However the server was lovely and very apologetic and helpful where he could be but it was clear his hands were tied in...

Me and my Partner have been here a few times for lunch, however the breakfast was disappointing. We arrived and ordered and then had to wait 40 minutes for a sausage and egg sandwich and an English breakfast. I chose to add on hash browns and beans for Ā£2.50 each and the breakfast bap was around Ā£7. When the food arrived my partner was given one sausage cut in half on his bap and my extra beans were maximum 1 & 1/2 tablespoons worth.the bacon was cold which I didn’t bring up as I understand it goes cold quickly sometimes. We then went to pay and when we brought these issues up we were told its treacle market we are super busy (they had one table of six in and a table of 2 upon arrival). When bringing up the issue with the sausage and egg bap we were told that it’s completely normal to have one sausage and we are the first to complain. We did not feel as though our complaints were heard and if anything felt like the lady argued back. We were given no partial discount as I was super disappointed that my breakfast came to Ā£15.90. Very disappointed considering we have been going...
