We sat in the beer garden but we were asked to leave as no dogs allowed, there was no signage anywhere. However there was a no smoking sign which did not deter the smokers, nor did they get asked to stop or leave. We landed up drinking on the pavement having just gotten our drinks order. My favourite pub in Morpeth. Especially when the sun comes out and you manage to get a seat in the beer garden which is next to the river bank. Just need more sun! Always welcoming. Fabulous manager and staff, very friendly and helpful! Dog friendly but have separate lounge for no dogs and children. Special offers abound and lots of charity events. Only been living in Morpeth for 8 months, and love this place. Made many friends and don't wish to go anywhere else...
